Answered this phone call got a live person asked them who they were trying to reach and was hung up on. Called back the number and it is busy. They state they are offering to lower credit card interest rate and tell you it is your last chance.  I feel this is a scam and these are predators on the other end of the line.

Answered phone and got robo message about last chance to lower credit card interest rates and to press 1 to see how. When I did, a guy answered and stated he could lower rates and how could he help me. I said YOU PEOPLE CAN STOP CALLING ME and he hung up. The recorded message is a female voice and sounds the same for many different numbers that call with the same iritating message.

I do appreciate all these replies but; unfortunately, they are not very helpful. What I really need is a physical address and perhaps the home address of the CEO. Even more helpful would be times and routes that he takes his kids to school.

I believe we have another job for Seal Team 6 since the No Call list enforcers are toothless, worthless and obviously overpaid.

If you go to spokeo.com and type in the # it's brings up a map of the location the call was made from.

Got the call today -  ans. machine picked it up & it was just silence. I hate these jerks. I get the same message from alot of different numbers. "This is your final warning".....

These scam numbers are calling my kids phone.

I received a call just a few moments ago.  Some recording BS Scammers I'm sure I've heard the same recording from how many numbers.  Just got another one from 806-318-4102 with the same Dang recording.  I have no credit cards (well a few in debt collectors) but I refuse to pay them as I had the insurance on them if something happened which is a CROCK they refused to pay after my auto accident and I had lost my job,  Fought for disability and 2 yrs later finally got it.  I just buried my Mother yesterday so I was so hoping to CURSE someone out.  But I don't dare press the 1 as I'm sure that how they obtain more information - but I could be wrong on that.

Chill out, folks. You don't have to answer these calls. We just let them go to a recorded message. Also, posting threats of physical harm to callers or CEO's is not a good idea; there could be consequences you will not like.

My number is on the Federal Trade Commission's (FTC) national Do Not Call registry.

I received a call from this number - 515-789-7889 - today.  My Caller ID displayed the letters "Out of Area" and the telephone number.  It is likely a fake telephone number but that does not matter.

EVERY TIME I receive an unwanted call such as this one I report it to the FTC using its online complaint format.  It doesn't matter if it is a fake number or not.  I provide the date, time of the call, what Caller ID displayed and the message if there was one.  I have decided to let the FTC know that people are tired of unwanted calls.

These companies/individuals know that most people will not bother to complain to the FTC - that is what they are relying on.  Thus, they stay under the FTC's radar.  Complaining at this website, other than identifying the caller and letting others know they are not unique, does little to stop the calls.

If more people would complain to the FTC and not just complain on this forum, the FTC WILL take action against these annoying callers.  The FTC does not act on one complaint alone.  It takes many complaints before they will take action - but they DO take action if enough citizens complain.

A police syle whistle does wonders afer you get a live person

This is a scame!!! I pressed the number to speak with someone and they would not give me a chance to talk. They only wanted to know either credit card Visa or Master Card they could help me lower my rate. I advised them of my low interest rate and that I did not need their help. The phone was then abruptly and loudly slammed down ending the call. They still persist in calling from time to time stateing this is your last chance garbage.

I don't LIKE telemarketers leaving recorded messages on my voicemail.  I can't delete them without letting them run out first (Comcast digital voice).  It's an outrage for any telemarketer to leave a recorded message in someone's voice mail.  You may chill out, but I don't roll over for [***].
