Called me but left no message

Same here, called me 5 times, no messages..

I want the political right wing social idiots to QUIT calling my house - Can I sue these idiots?  My number is on a do not call list.

Called my cell phone and my house phone multiple times. Left no message!!!

4 Calls, 2 voicemails 3 sec of dead air, Called back and getting, Mailbox if full.

Same...received phone call; no message.  Attempted to return call & voice mail box is full.

Do not call again!

I TOTALLY agree with you, Dawn!  Political [***]!  I have been receiving these political recorded B.S. messages EVERY day.  I am on the Do Not Call list also.  Where do they get our cell phone numbers anyway?!?  I'm a registered Independant for the simple reason that I don't want Republicans OR Democrats calling me EVER!!!  What can we do about this?!!

sadly political calls do not fall under the scope of the do not call registery. Never has never will. So get used to these political @sses calling you all the time. Did you really think congress would take away something they percieve to have value to themselves. Also non profits are also exempted from the Do not call list, so police, fire departments, or local zoos can also call you at will regardless of DNC registry.

Continue to get these harassing calls from the republicans. Unfortunately, these harassing calls from politicians do not fall under the Do Not Call rules. I still file a complaint however. 90% of the harassing political calls are from republicans, but the Democrats are occasional guilty also.

Maybe the reason you get a lot of calls is because you are an Independant and both parties are after your vote. I too am registered as an Independent, but most all calls come from Republicans. I guess that political party is more evil.

They Exempted themselves from the Federal do not call list.  Political parties are exempt so if it’s another nonprofit they should not be calling.

If you are an independent be prepared to get 5x as many calls as if you are registered republican or democrat. Most independent voters end up casting ballots for one party or the other in elections, and thus, are prime targets for persuasion. Also, political calls are exempt from the do not call list, so you can complain to the FCC and your attorney general all you want, but it won't do any good.

There is nothing you can do. The Republicans and Democrats have free speech. They can call you all they like. The Do Not Call List is only for telemarketers.

There are two places campaigns get your names and phone numbers: Voter Registration forms and if you give it to them. I know you are going to say that you never gave it to them, but you did. Have you ever signed a partisan online petition - you gave them your number. Ever put down your name on a candidate volunteer form - you gave them your number. Ever made a campaign contribution - you gave them your number.

The truth is that even during the biggest election days you do not spend more the maybe twenty minutes a day talking to some volunteer for a political campaign. You are not the busy. Get over yourselves. We live in a Democracy, people are going to ask you to go vote. That is a good thing. Quit bitching, all of you.
