Phone rang twice from this number. Did not leave a message. I see others have the same complaint. What gives?

4:26 p.m. phone rang, no msg. left.

Answered call, automated msg saying the IRS was suing me and that I needed to call them back immediately, but didn't provide any company name. Call was identified as coming from New York. Probably a tax scam. Didn't call back.

I received 2 phone calls from this number back to back and then a voicemail saying that someone was filing a law suit against me. When I called back the people hardly spoke English and I couldn't understand them

Got a voice message the IRS was suing me. I never called back. Im sure if it was IRS they would mail something.  Tired of people trying to take advantage of people

Got a call from 516-246-7118 saying they were the IRS and there was a law suite, am I aware.  Wanted me to verify my name.  When I said I would not the caller disconnected the call.

Suit against you. we need you or your retained attorney of record to return the call, we called the number and it goes nowhere, no one answers the phone and there is no professional greeting or any type of voicemail greeting whatsoever. it is fraud. I don't owe anyone and 100% sure it is fraud, block your number if you call it back.

This is a scam! They call from different numbers. If you don't answer they leave a ridiculous message that you're being sued by the IRS. If you call back, they try to bully you into giving them personal information. I just call back, over and over and over, and hang up on them until they get pissed. Then I say, "It sucks when people waste your time, doesn't it?" Don't even waste your energy on this bunch of losers.

Sick of the trolls that try to extort money from unsuspecting people. " Lawsuit filed against me.  The issue at hand is extremely time sensitive."  Don't make me laugh.  Get a real job!
