REDA IN NEW YORK, BUT THIS IS ALSO A FRAUD, AND THE LAW FIRM IS NOT INVOLVED.  PLEASE CONTACT YOUR LOCAL AUTHORITIES AND FILE A REPORT, AS THIS MATTER IS BEING INVESTIGATED ON A FEDERAL LEVEL.  THANK YOU FOR YOUR COOPERATION.

Yes they called telling me they were from a law firm and if I didn't pay I would go to jail and they would "hurt me". When I told them I knew this is a scam and to quit calling my house, he proceeded to use foul language and get mad. I hung up.

i was called by a "John Wilson" at that number.  I called back and was told there was a law suit being filed and I would be arrested in the next few days.  He told me that I could settle for 694.00.  I called my atty who advised me it was a probable scam and was told not to worry about it.  It's hard not to worry when you're told you will be arrested at your place of employment.  When I asked him to fax me copies of the paperwork that he read to me, he said that it was "paperless" and he didn't have to do that.

Was called by "Chris Brown" claiming he was calling from Douglas M Reda law office in New York. I was told by this induvidual i had a cash advance loan overdue, that if indid not settle for the amount of 844 sent to their office via moneypack payment I would be arrestes at my plce of work the next day. This person had all my personal infirmation including SSN, bank acct numbers, work adress and number etc. Called local authorities and was told this is a ScAm and they have received numerous reports about this.

Got a call saying from Douglas law firm and I was being arrested at 11am tomorrow.  They want a prepaid debit card for $735.88 from me!   I agree with above poster that it is scary thinking that you might get arrested at work!!   Good to see that it really is a scam though!!

Received a phone call this morning at 7:58 AM, did not anwser the phone, called left a very threnting message.  Caller had a heavy accent, also stated was calling from Douglas Reda Law Firm in New York.  Phone number was 516-323-1993 - noticed other phone numbers were listed.
Read complaints posted by other people who had received calls from the same number, they were advised to not return the call due to the fact was a "SCAM"
A complaint will be file with the Attorney General's office and the local police department.
Where do these "SCUMBAGS" get their information???

Be careful of anything to do with Doug Reda.  He is a scam himself.  He violated a court order and took funds from one side of a pending divorce.  Receiving threatening scam calls from his office comes as no surprise.  Stay away and beware!
