I kept getting calls from this number and finally was able to answer, and the person said that I had won a $100 Walmart gift card. As I often fill out the surveys from stores, I thought it was about that, but they wanted my address and name, which I usually include on the surveys. I immediately told the man that I did not want to give any personal information over the phone, and he insisted that he wouldn't need anything to send me this gift card. The call started out with an opportunity to give me a confirmation number, which got set aside due to my questions about the whole deal.

I thought it was weird, and it just got weirder from there when the man wanted to "verify" by getting the type of card I had used in the store. He then tried to convince me that I shop at Walmart all the time and that they wanted to reward my loyalty. He then said they charged a one-time charge of $3.90 for shipping the gift card, and gave me some story about how they got my phone number from my transactions at Walmart - they supposedly drew my card number (he made it sound like a lottery sort of deal). At this point, I was done with them but played along out of curiosity, so I said I didn't have the card available so the man started guessing, first asking if it was Visa or Mastercard (obviously, the two most common types of card). When I said I wasn't sure because I didn't have the card available, he went on and on about my "Visa card" and how he needed the expiration date to supposedly verify.

I refused to give out any of that information and asked for this supposed confirmation number, and got a story about how he needed to verify and then he would pass the information on to a senior manager, who would call me back with that information.

Not only do I rarely shop at Walmart, but I don't have a Visa card, so I knew this was messed up - if it was genuinely even remotely true, every receipt records the card number and last four digits of the card. Obviously, this is a scam. The guy was very disappointed that I was unwilling to give out that information and asked when he could call back, because I told him I was at work. I went along with that and he said he's calling back later, that way I could hop online and check this out. I did try to call the number back and got a message that said I was contacted for telemarketing purposes. There were options to either remove my number from their lists or speak to a representative, so I opted to remove my number and entered it. The message said they would remove my number from their lists within 72 hours, so we will see what happens with that.

Anyone who wants my card information isn't trustworthy in my book. If they call me back, I will be informing them not to call again.

This number keeps harassing me saying I won 100$

I was working when they call me so wasnt able to answer it, good thing I didnt !

they call me in excess of 10 times EVERYDAY. this is getting old its always the same story every time but i get this call from different numbers every few months and its damn irritating. i thought it was illegal to do this sort of thing!

Seriously.... 10 times in one day for second day straight!! GO AWAY!

My sister got a call from them earlier saying that she won a free gift card through Verizon all she had to do was give them her credit card info to charge the shipping and handling so they could send it. She asked to talk to their supervisor and they refused and kept pressing on saying they needed her credit card number. They need reported to the BBB!

I keep getting calls from 516 453 5593.  Who is this?

I GET 10 OR MORE CALLS ON SOME DAYS FROM THIS NUMBER ON MY CELL PHONE. MOST OF THE TIME I DON'T ANSWER BECAUSE WHEN I DO ANSWER, THERE IS NO RESPONCE ON THE OTHER END.

I have already reported them to the BBB. Numberous people have also reported them to the FCC also.

If there is a lawyer on this site please tell me what I can do.  They call my work number 4 or 5 times a day.  I have to be available to answer business calls not telemarketers.  Someone HELP!!

this number called me and told me theyd send a 100 dollar gift card if i pay a 3.95 activation fee.  they also prompted me to just say "okay"  to all the recordings there after.   these recordings were sped up so much in tempo that they were barely even audible, indistinguishable english.  i realized after a few zips through that they were signing me up for stuff i didnt want.  when i tried telling them that i was no longer interested they hung up on me.  of course i immediately called my bank, and closed my account and plan on going out there tomorrow to get a new card.   I wrote down a few of the numbers that were associated with the sped up promotional blather that came after the 100 dollar offer.  and none of these numbers were able to give me a company name or number that was associated for this promotion.  they said they could only give me information after i became registered (aka after my card is charged).  This is a huge scam,  and is a blatant violation of consumer protection rights.  when these people finally get caught they will be ROYALLY [***].

HOW TO DO WE THIS STOPPED CALLING MY NUMBER 10 TIMES A DAY AT WORK NEED MY PHONE FOR CUSTOMERS I NEVER ANSWER CAUSE I KNOW ITS A SCAM CELL CO CANT BLOCK NUMBER FOR SOME REASON

I got 10/15 calls from this number and they said that I got a $100 gift card from Walmart. Initially I showed a little interest but when they started asking my personal information like credit card I told them I did not want that gift card. But they insisted and then I hung up. Then they called again and said that the card is already shipped and they needed the credit card information just for verification purposes and some short survey as someone above mentioned and I was told to say "Okay" for those messages. Please make sure that you dont pick calls from this number. When I asked them what company they represent they just said Autodiscount USA benefits. I am not sure they are from that company.

I got 2 calls last night,wen my husband picked it and they didnt speak.today morning they called again and i picked it.they told me i have won a $ 100 dollar gift card.i told him i have not given this number anywhere during any of my purchases,but he tried to convince me .they wanted my address to ship it and by mistake i told him half  the address,then he told me about the  shipping charges.i told him i dont want it now,as i have to consult with my husband,.he told he will call me later.

its now that i know it is a fake caller.

someone from this number has called my house 3 times today. please make them stop!

Some one call me from them 20 times a day and hang up,I want it to stop.

Ive been called 5 times already, each time the caller hangs up, this number has been reported on multiple sites and has been labelled as a scam artist. this person is obviously a criminal. Harassment is a crime as is larceny. which is what they ultimately intend to do. this needs to stop.
