Foreign man's voice, static, and a lot of activity in background.  Says he's from Microsoft and it is about my computer.  I get about one call a week, sometimes two in one day. When I call back I am told it "is not a working number".

Same thing. Who is this? Was very rude  thick accent told me to go to my computer and type www.support.me.

It's a scam. When I confronted him he said I was a liar. We then decided to exchange pleasentries

Got a call from this number when I called it stated a nkn working number.

Man with heavy accent claiming to be "Charlie Matthew" from Microsoft in Glenview NY. He asked if I was primary computer user because my computer was infected. He got defensive to my questions and said I'll be sorry when my computer stops working.

Awful how can i block these things?

Like a man with Indian accent and keep calling no manner at all..stating that he is calling from Microsoft.

and asking me when I'm gonna be home

Same thing happened....I nicely told him to go fly a kite in just as many words and hung up on him. Stated he was calling from microsoft and that ALL my drivers had stopped working. I laughed at him.

Said was from Microsoft and was calling because my computer generated multiple automated messages that my drivers had stopped working.   When expressed reservation about launching www.support.me (Rescue by LogMeIn) he went thru this elaborate process to convince me he was really from Microsoft.  But the employee number he gave me to input on the Microsoft web did not take me to anything but a stock photo of a "tech support person", and the computer ID he read me alleging it was on my registration profile was not even close to my actual ID.  After I break off the call, he called back repeatedly-- at least 8 times.  The caller ID for this number stated it is a cell phone -- which confirmed this guy is NOT a Microsoft Tech.   He's trying to get you to launch the Rescue function which allows him to control your computer, and you can't get it back until he returns control to you (....if ever!).    Steer clear~

I got call from this number too, he will ask you to go on some website, pls don't type in that website b/c he can get control of your computer and can really mess it up.
