phoned late after noon; says new york; didn't answer; pain in the butt; who are these idiots?

This guy called me and told me he was with microsoft and was getting complaints of my computer sending out malicious code
I Told him "BS your nothing but a liar and a thief...Click and he was gone

Woman with Indian accent calls my house at 10:30PM, says she is from Windows, the Vista, blah blah blah. I told her I knew it was a scam and hung up. We are on the do-not-call-list but these grifters don't care for laws.

I never answer numbers I don't know and always look them up on the computer. What I want to know is where do they get our numbers? I blocked them as usual.

Glad to know Im not the only one who got the call.  Like seriously, those people need to get a life.  I had the Indian Accent woman too, talkin about my computer, email, or something.  Rediculous.  And it was late afternoon.  Ha!!  These people should be reported if they havent been already.

iv been havin problems with a neighbor and my friend was here from out of town and now she keeps gettin g pranks and hang up from this guy i think this [***] will do anything for a buck spineless bullies should all go to hell express train

Keeps calling. I might call them back and give them the "Take my number off your phone list" line. We'll see if that works.

They are impersonating CRA officers and ask to hear back from you or your attorney regarding some money owed. Be careful folks, they are hitting various parts of Ontario with this scam.

called me at 5:30pm and left no message.......who is doing this...........it is unwanted and should be stopped.......

Same thing happened to me! Said they are receiving things from my computer that its downloading virus' and he can help me fix it. Said he was calling from California and he know where I was and what type of computer I had. I told him I don't have a computer hahahahah

I get the calls saying the IRS has a case against me and I woe them money!

Got this call from IRS on october 30. 2014 4:50 pm ????  saying they have a case against me that I owned them some money....

Received a call from 516-785-9420 on 12/5/14 at 10:01 a.m.  A woman with a deep voice left a message and said she was calling from the IRS and that this was my final notice.  They are filing a lawsuit against me.  Yeah right!  She told me to call 02-905-0483.  Yeah okay.  Scam artist!  I guess she didn't realize her phone number showed up on my caller ID.

I picked up the phone and a machine said "good by" then nothing.
It did not hang up since the time on the phone was going on and on until I hung up.

IRS PHONE SCAM

We received a Computer voice phone call warning me that "This was the I.R.S. ( and then mentioned money owed to INTERNAL REVENUE SERVICE - full name)  That, "You are being sued by the I.R.S.  and that they have been trying to get a hold of us!"  The number is only mentioned once and is almost inaudible - my wife received the original call and believes the call back number was "022412157." The caller ID showed the caller as "BRANCH COMFORT" with a number as: 1-607-363-9766. As I was doing this message, I received a phone call on my landline phone with a caller ID of "New York" at  "516-785-9420" advising the same story about owing the IRS. When the return call was received,  it was the same 022412157. The only similar calling code that matches this number is "224."  This is from Guinea on the Ivory Coast of Africa. I do not know if this is a call  that was intended to call a cellular number or a line but I suspect that if you call the number back that you will be responsible for hundreds of dollars of international charges! BEWARE

I had a man with Indian accent call me by name and said there was a legal case against me. I stopped him right there and told him " this is a scam don't call again".

Got a call just now from this number saying IRS and a number to call back because a lawsuit had been file.  You would think the phone companies could do something about this.

I received call stating I was involved in fraud and that I was about to be arrested. They wanted my SSN for back ground. I said I was reporting them to law enforcement for fraud and the guy hung up

what happen just got this call too... Is it a scam or not
