I get repeated calls, as many as 10 a day, from this number.  It is very disruptive and there is no response.

there is no basis for this caller, 516-800-0000, to contact me: i registered for "do not call." (most spammers actually don't call.)

i noticed that these calls began the day after my phone service was reactivated for late payment. could there be some connection?

i get calls from 5168000000 at least 5 times a day.  there is no one there when I say hello. I've tried calling the number and nothing happens, it doesent connect.  who can this be?  

Calls 3 to 4 times a day has no merrit to call.Indian guy on other end that you can barely understand....Please stop calling.No one will answer phone to that # again

Getting many calls per day from this number. Caller ID says hicksville. Nobody is there when I answer. very annoying.

Sounds like boiler room calling. Did not answer my request just hung up.

Been getting calls from this number for weeks with no answer on the other end.  Today I final heard a human voice, but was so pissed I just told her to "put me on the do not call list and never call again".   I'm sorry I didn't find out who it was to help out this database.

Prior to no voice, the caller said he was from Microsoft, and explained that there were errors on my computer.  The guy had me type a url into browser that brought up a web site and he asked that I download something from that website.  I asked that he prove who he said he was.  He then directed me to a Microsoft partner web site and pointed out a number to call.  I hung up, called that number, and there was no answer. These seems to be some kind of phishing scam.  Hope no one falls for it.  

These guys have called dozens of times. Last time the indian guy called, I told him that I was really happy he had called because I was having issues with my computer. Told him I was on another line and to hold and I would come back. Put him on mute and came back three times to tell him just another minute. Kept him on the line for about 5 minutes before he hung up. LMFAO!!

I guess I made the list to get these calls. im just ready to get rid of my phone - all it is anymore is telemarketers from overseas. I often wonder if other countries get these calls

I've been house-sitting at my aunt & uncle's place since last night and this number has called several times. I answered just now. After a delay, a man with an accent (possibly Indian?) who said he was "Mark" claimed to be from Microsoft and told me that because of an "online survey" an update didn't install correctly on a computer here and that now the drivers were not functional. He asked if I was the "primary user" of the computer and when I said "No" he wanted to know who was. I said that I wasn't comfortable giving out any information, he got a little testy and said he wasn't asking for information, just who is the primary user. I wouldn't give him a name and he hung up on me.

They are a scam. They talk you through this stuff and the end game is they want you to give them access to your computer.

heavily accented foreigner that states he is from microsoft technical department and that your computer is going to crash on you soon. what a joke!!! here are the reasons he is a scammer:
1.  microsoft does not cold call anyone
2.  microsoft wants you to pay for services when you call them, not them calling you
3. caller id states hicksville, ny with no company name just area and number
4. foreign sounding person/persons and they wait until you pick up and say about the third hello
5. number they are calling from when you try and call back does not exist.
6. microsoft technicial department is in the usa

started receiving the calls about 2 weeks ago.  get as many as 10 a day.  No answer on the line.  

Same routine - many many calls.  Got the guy on the phone eventually- he takes a long time to pick up.  Says he is from a "Microsoft partner" called "People Connect USA".  I told him I had reported him to the FTC and that his calls are illegal.  I'm sure I REALLY made an impression :(  Wish there was some effective way of blocking this.

that number is from n.y. and they hack your computer they sold my debit card and just spent 45 dollars. I was on ebay and I wanted to talk to someone there and I dialed ebays number and this [***] answers they phone I knew right away it was him cause I talked to him a few times telling me he was from ebay and Microsoft. so he was screwing around in my computer I had to change my ebay password like 5 times. I don`t know how he got ebays number and was answering the number that ebay has posted on their page. they are stupid as hell but they are not dumb they know their way around a computer. I had to change from xp to win 7. don`t trust this [***]
