Calls and hangs up

Called on 4/30/14 claiming to be soliciting money for "Police Conference 2014". Gave a very robotic pitch then laughed when I asked a question. I then hung up.

Calls and hangs up.. No message left

Got calls daily on my friends phone.Say they want money for Police Conference.My friend speaks little english so I called
and they said they would send me a decal and even said thank you miss for calling back. Im 6foot 2 and 210 lb southern
man who speaks with a very deep voice and very southern..Then I called back and held my nose closed and could,nt help
but to start laughing.
I went to NYC Police page and they say they do not use telemarketing for funds and they give a number to call and let them know if you get a call.
Then I went to who,s calling me from 516-882-5364 on the internet and saw a lot of people are getting calls from this number
On 911 I saw first hand what our police do for us as well as everyday. I hope when (and they will) they catch these people
they put it on the Internet and let us know they caught the garbage and put it in the can.

I ALSO RECEIVED THESE CALLS - WHAT SITE WAS THAT WHERE YOU GOT THE NUMBER TO CALL AND REPORT THIS?  WHAT POLICE PAGE?

Got the call too - used V51016544100073 - must be some kind of service as I get other calls with the V and numbers after so they call for different groups

(516) 882-5364 “Joe Mackall” Claimed they help provide up to date training for law enforcement as well as benefits and financial assistance to families of these fallen member officers. The New York police do not solicit funds via telemarketing.
