Third call in two weeks, no message.

I have been receiving calls from 516-986-0747  every day and no one leaves a message.

Every day, and even when I pick it up- no answer.

  Get calls in spurts    nothing for a while and then all times of day for a couple of weeks.   Pain in the a--

I get at least 1 call per day from 516-986-0747 on my cell phone.  I never answer and they never leave a voice mail.  

Second call in three days

Didn't answer but no one left msg

I have received several calls from the above noted phone number.
No one speaks.
I did try the number and a young male answered--said hello--and hung up as I was giving him the reason I called.

Someone claiming to be fundraising for an association of fraternal order of police unions in ny. Since when do unions solicit money from other than their membership? Hung up.

Yep, they claimed to be raising funds. I said, "Since you're a police officer you clearly understand why I won't be giving you my information over the phone as that is OBVIOUSLY not safe for me to do so, but give me your badge number and I'll go to my local precinct and make a donation in your name." He couldn't have hung up faster.

This is defitely a scam, they tried to get my credit card info over the phone and I told them to send me a letter and I would make a donation through money order . They said they will send it within two days and I never received anything ..

Got a call from this number this evening, which disconnected as soon as I said "Hello."  It will be marked so that I do not answer it in the future.

Same as April 9th caller... asking for donation to help with police funding.  

How to stop this jerk calling me and no leaving any messages. It should be a way to report it with the authority

I just called him back. He answered me said thanks for calling back and told me the gave me the whole deal that he was calling to raise money for a police association of ny. Asked him since when do government officials solicit phone calls for money he told me nothing needed to be done over the phone and I said so I can take this to my local precinct and they'll know all about it, he said ok and I said so I can give them this phone number number and it won't be a problem they'll take my donation since this is legit and instead of yes or no he said ok and I said good please give me your name so I can tell them your number and who I spoke to when I go to my local precinct in the morning and he quickly said joe or John (couldn't tell from the mubling) manzo and hung up.

I just received a cal from this number 2minutes ago.  I answered and they hung up.  I re-dialed the number and the guy said thanks for calling back is the man or lady at home and i said no could you leave a message and he says he's from the police conference. It was weird

Exact samething happen

So far today, I have gotten 3 calls from them.  I don't answer, and they never leave a message.  As someone else mentioned, they call in spurts.  You don't hear from them for a while, and then the calls begin again.  Sometimes I wonder why I bothered registering with the "Do Not Call" list.

I have getting this number for weeks on end. Don't people know when quit calling. If you can't answer when I pick up the phone, then why are you calling me? Those people are just plain annoying.

Multiple calls from the number, when I called a woman answered.
Said her name and said she was getting weird calls about her calling other people she had not,
might be a hacker, might be her son or some kid she knows... *sigh.
