Called this number back from a secure pnone. A very fast talker said" Thank you very much for calling back. This is Joe Mac(  gibberish ) calling for the policeman`s something or other and we want you to contribute....."at which point I hung up ! I believe this is a scam and even if it isn`t , since when do real cops call people out of their service area begging for dollars? Can`t make ends meet on their salaries?

I didn't pickup so they hung up after my message machine kicked in.

The person by the name of Joe M. called asking to donate money to some type police funds. I'm not even in the area where this person is calling from trying to get money. Please stop him!...

They want me to contribute money to their Police Fund. I live 467 miles from there. I told the guy to leave me alone because I don't transact any business over the phone unless I INITIATE THE CALL.
They keep calling.
