Did not recognize the number so didn't pick up.  Called ID listed number as "Breast Cancer S".  I do not/have not contributed to any organization that raises money for breast cancer so this organization has no business calling me as a past/current contributor if that's the justification they want to try and use.

Call, BTW, is from Bath, MI -- not Charlotte, Coldwater, Clinton as reported in other posts.  I live in Howell, Michigan.

I got a call at 9 at night. The caller id said Breast Cancer Society......she asked for my husband and I told her to take us off her list. I also said 9 at night was too late for her to call...she told me she was just call sometime later...I told her to take us off her list..had to say it twice before she hung up.  We never give $ to telemarketers. EVER. Besides, who knows if she is legit?  Or, if 8&, 12% actually goes to breast cancer?  Our contributions go directly to people and organizations we know...have investigated and feel confident we know where the $ is going.

If you call her number back, 517-641-2387, you reach a recording. Sounds almost legit. Beware. The attorney general's office in your state, especially ours, will investigate these callsl. I encourage you to call.

They called at 10am.  Caller ID just says Bath, MI.  They left no message on answering machine.

The caller ID says "Breast Cancer Society", which I've never heard of. These bogus charities make me crazy. They take funds away from legitimate charities - if you donated to them, you probably wouldn't also donate to something like the American Cancer Society. I'll bet the "Breast Cancer Society", if it even actually exists, spends 99.9% of its funding on administrative salaries.

Another one of these 'fund-raisers' that use a loophole to avoid Do Not Call list issues. Don't even answer

Our name is on the "DO NOT CALL LIST" ! We also pay extra $ to have these calls blocked - they still get through? Something has to be done about solicitors calling for $. We get 10 to 15 calls a week.
Breast Cancer S 517-641-2387 and calls from different MI #'s and Other states regarding our free senior citizen gift to be delivered!!  What does the government think the use of the DO NOT CALL LIST is good for?
During elections we get all those UNWANTED call too! We shouldn't have to tolerate all these calls day and night!

The fact is, charitable organizations AND political calls or organization are EXEMPT from the Do Not Call Registry.  Did you think politicians were going to disallow themselves from calling you???!!!!!!!!!!

I have also requested that they remove our number from their list. They just keep calling anyway and don't leave a message. I don't pick up the phone. Only their phone number shows on our caller ID - no name.

1st time from this number.  More and more such calls.  Do Not Call List is not working so hot.

I told this Amanda that our family holds an annual benefit because of the tragic effect on our family and she basically ignored that.  So I played along and was eventually asked for my debit or credit card number!!!

Received a call from them just a few minutes ago and boy did they get a wrong number! All they got was a big loud screech from my fax machine.

this is the second time i've had the number show up on my caller id.  both calls in the evening, this one just before 8 and the other just after; no messages left either time.  have never had any dealings with them and have been on do not call registery for some time now - it only seems to encourage these types of calls.

When I told her my Mom has just died from breast cancer and I am not donating anything right now, she said "I know this isn't a good time, but…." I replied "Did you hear what I just said?" And then she hung up as I yelled never to call me again.

They have called numerous times asking for someone named Andrew.  I've explained every time that no one named Andrew lives here, and that they are calling an elderly, bed ridden, handicapped woman and they need to stop calling.  After I tell them that their response is always a very sarcastic "I'm calling to help raise funds for breast cancer awareness", or something like that.  This time I told her that if they called one more time I would turn them into my local police department for harassing the woman I live in and take care of!  This is ridiculous, how can these companies do this over and over and over again and get away with it?

Got a call. Caller ID said "Bath, MI". Glad I didn't answer, based on all the other reports. These guys should be prosecuted for their charity scams. Dirt bags and scum.

Update: You can go to this website and read about these guys, but better yet, scroll down the web page and there is a CNN video you can watch which shows what a scam these people are running. If they give anything to charity at all, Anderson Cooper's investigation showed it is approximately 2 cents of every dollar donated. And in 2011 they pulled in 26 million dollars from the unsuspecting public....

Caller did not leave message. When I called 517-641-2387 back, the voicemail asked that I leave MY name and number. This is supposed to be a Breast Cancer Foundation? Really!? I've read nothing but complaints for this so called 'Foundation'. SCAM. File a complaint. Shut it down.

Just got a call...again ... from this super cheerful fake who called a little after 8a this morning... she would not take no for an answer and made it sound like I contributed before. A lie, of course. She hung up but will call again..the 1 bad thing about a land line phone.   Well everyone..let's band together. Scream into the phone..it is funny .. for us😂😂😂😂 and it works. Got rid of one solicitor that way..took a few tries...no more calls. Scream..great therapy too! Lol
