This must be another alias number for Portfolio Recovery.  They've been calling me for weeks under different numbers and names.  I don't answer.

these people are relentless. They have been calling for more than a month with different numbers.
I am blocking these calls as they come in and they rotate to a different number to get through.
As I understand it these people are scammers trying to collect on old debts.  I never have nor never
will have any outstanding debts.   Isn't there anyway of protecting the public from these who prowl around looking to take advantage of people?  Some who are not wise and will believe anything are at their mercy.  I think there is a special place reserved for these types.

The perpetuation of these scammers has got to stop. Claiming I have debts (which i have never had) with a Bank i have never even heard of. How do they get away with this. So damn annoying.

I am in the same boat, never have had a claim against me, but those SOB will not stop. Next stop is the state General Attorney, but that could be half the problem, the state of FL sells your info and when you have a common name every vulture in the country thinks it may be you, even when you tell them otherwise. There should be a law against this crap.

called me but did not answer but called them back and told them call was being recorded and they got really opset and said i could not do that told them too bad and they hung up. have not heard back from them since

I called them back and told them that I wanted them to stop calling me. They checked my phone number and they had some other person's name on it so they deleted me from their system. It took all of five minutes. This is after them calling me from 15 different numbers for almost two months now.

Not sure who it is but they don't leave a message.  It could be Portfolio Recovery.  They called at 8:30 on Sat morning and woke me up so I didn't answer.

more than likely potfolio recovery - I don't answer numbers that I don't recognize and these jokers have called 2 times today.

I have over 20 different numbers from them. They will not leave you a lone.

this woman called claiming she was a nurse and what did I need.   I told her nothing you called me.
The woman asked for my phone number with area code.  At first I gave the phone number minus area code.  
The nurse claimed she could not help me out unless I gave her my area code.   I gave it to her.
I recieved a click on her end of the phone.

This brought up scamming in my mind and I am shook up and got my daughter in law to look into the issue for me because I am blind at 90.

SERIOUSLY, I have had a home phone for about a year now...havent touched it (: just now am memorizing number. So how someone got my home phone number when i didnt even knoe it, to give it out, is RIDICULOUS

I noticed this missed call on my cell phone, but no one left a message.  Thanks for all the information on these types of call.  I will not call back to find out what "they" want!
