Recorded message trying to sell a "personal medical alert system" and $1000 in grocery coupons.  Not the first time I have gotten this one, but it is the first (and last) time form this number.  Reported to donotcall.gov

I keep getting a call from a recorded message selling personal medical alert systems, even though I have pushed 5 to opt out on their recording. I pushed 1 this time to "order my alert system" when when I told the sales rep to take me off of their list he hung up on me. I tried calling the phone number back and it kept ringing and then hung up on me.

I got a call.  I am on do not call list.

Family member got this call. Report these low life's to the FTC and FCC. Hopefully the authorities will crack down on them.

calls several times a day. Don't know anyone in New York so don't answer it. Looks same as previous telemarketer and poll caller numbers. And good ol' Rachel the credit card idjut uses spoof so my own number shows up on caller ID. Definitely don't answer that one.

It starts out with "Hello, seniors" after which I always hang up. I've received multiple calls from it.

It is very quiet now…

Med alert again at 1143 am PDT -- another phone number -- they never quit and will not until they find that all elderly and impaired people are aware they are crooks.  One can hope we all get through to those individuals so they are not suckered in and have their lives destroyed.  These scam crooks have no conscience, obviously.  This is maybe the tenth or so number over the past year or two for this same message.  Have never picked up or responded in any way so they have slowed down somewhat from initial calls of one every two or three days to about one every two weeks.  Isn't that disgusting to hear too?  Robo callers just hook up the system and push the call button ... and wait.  

I also got a call from this number but I have a Panasonic landline which allows you to block up to 30 different numbers. I also get calls for Medical Alert systems from several other phone numbers. I am also on the donotcall.gov but don't know how much good it does. These calls are so annoying but it doesn't seem there is anyway to stop them

I was reading about that scam where the caller ID # comes up as your number.  Haven't gotten one of those as yet.

I religiously report numbers to the FCC when it is obvious it is a telemarketer or unwanted caller soliciting business.  Same numbers a year later still calling, so FCC is not doing their job going after these people.  We have bought new phones that will allow us to block unwanted calls, so we will see how effective this works.  It is my suspicion that the same telemarketer calls back under different numbers. Also have experienced my own phone number coming in as the ID -- don't understand how they can do this.

Medical alert telemarketer.  Leaving this post to comment on fact that when I scroll down to bottom of all posts re this no, there's an ad for lifefon medical alert! How scary is that?  I will NOT be calling them - except possibly to register my disgust at trying to capitalize on this scam

Just got a call from 518-417-5291. It is a telemarketer out of New York. I'm on the "do not call list" It is as good as a sieve holding water. Why doesn't the govt. do something? Why do they try to pacify us with a no call list anyway, if nothing is ever done?

Just got a call from them but I have my fax machine plugged in and will leave it that way for a couple of weeks. It seems that they call for a couple of days then get the hint.
