Missed a call from this number, tried to call back within 30 mins and got a recording saying the number is not in service!

My neighbor received a call yesterday, so I was aware of it. Someone called me, but I didn't give him a chance to go into his pitch. I notified national grid and they are aware of the situation.

Same thing...waited for the answering machine to kick in to screen call...no message.  I won't waste my time calling back.  If it's important, they'll call me back.

Same thing waited for it to go to voicemail - no message left - called back and got recording that this number is not in service.

No voicemail, when I called back, number was invalid

Caller from some power company,  told her not to call back, was not interested in her crap.

Just got a call fr Dabied(?) 518-449-4944 asking if I was the bill payer for National Grid and to get the bill immediately so he could give me a discount on my bill.  I said I would call him back at the number - he got very argumentative and TOLD me to get the bill, he was from SBR etc etc.  He eventually hung up - beat me to it.

Yeah I am on the DNC registry but I get these calls anyway. The Number 518-449-4944 is a power company that is trying to get you to buy power thru them. I seem to recall when they started out they said I would recieve some discount of around 7 1/2 % but when I read and listened to what they said you wouldn't have any discount because you would still have to pay for the use of service thru National Grid so they were not lying but weren't telling the truth either and I think later the price might have gone up after some period of time. These people are the most agressive people there are several guys have showed up at my door demanding to see my power bill. So I finally put a sign on the door that said if you are the following... you are trespassing. One actually didn't get it but I didn't call the cops on them I explained my sign to them. It seems many do not understand the term Solicitor. But most of all they don't seem to get it when they call you. They said to me today we will sign you up for your discount, and I said I ain't signing up for nothing, I ain't signing up for nothing. Based on their behaviour and the desperation that seems to go with it, don't sign up for any power company stay with the one you have always been with. Oh and another thing if you have a budget payment where it gets averaged during the year you won't have that available with them I'm pretty sure

Did they say they were representing National Grid. Mine said they were calling on behalf of National Grid.

I am on the do not call list and yet these phone calls keep coming through, doesn't Time Warner Honor the do not call list?
