Get calls from this number several times a day. No one says anything and they hang up after 6-10 seconds.

always calls me! called me about 10 times in the past two days! WHO IS THIS PERSON! SO ANNOYING! they would always hang up after like 20 seconds!

I've been getting nonstop calls from this number. They blocked their number after I didn't pick it up the first time. It was from Amsterdam NY. There is noise but they didn't say anything for 20 seconds.

I've been getting calls for 2 days now.  I recognize it as a New York area code but no idea who.  Same thing: call, a little background noise for a few seconds, then hang up.

Keeps calling said if I qualified for free money from the government?? When has anyone been given free money from the government?

Wake-UP people! Who calls you are this Crooks that want to charge you $9.95 to find out WHO CALLS YOU! , don't loose you time, now you know WHO IS CALLING, easy way to make money!

I got that call today.  The caller was from India,couldn't pronounce my name and offered me FREE FEDERAL MONEY, a "grant". All I had to do was answer some questions about my education. He couldn't or wouldn't tell me who he was affiliated with and when I hung up he called me from an "unavailable" number.  Would love to know who is giving away free money, because as a taxpayer I am well aware that is money that the government takes from my hard earned pay check! Really pissed me off!

I know the government is all about 'entitlements' these days, but I find it hard to believe that they are just randomly calling and giving away my hard earned tax money (that is what the bailout was for...) to just anyone that picks up the phone - especially when the representative has that much trouble with pronouncing english words!

I hope no one falls for this obvious scam!

I would not give him any information and when I started asking him questions,  like a call back number so I could verify who he was, he promptly hung up on me.

It is definitely a scam everyone - do not fall for this type of information gathering.

I googled the # that called me and popped up some comments.
I got the same things
nobody talked, with the back sound
and sounded India , Lady, on the machine.

I have gotten two calls from this number also.  Yesterday afternoon and again this morning.  Caller ID says the call is from Amsterdam, New York.  The caller asked me if I was the "owner of this phone."  I did not reply and asked who was calling.  He then hung up.  Definitely a foreign accent ... I would guess Indian but who knows.

I recognized the same number when it rang this morning and did not answer.  Went to voice mail no message.  I've blocked this number now.  I am sure this is some kind of scam.

the guy tells me he's calling bout federal grants when i say stop calling me he hangs up before i even finish my sentence which tells me its a scam.

I looked up this number and I see it's a Scam....How can I get these Stupid People to quit calling my number ... I been refusing to answer it, and they done called me 6 times in 2 days...I don't know anyone in New York so I don't answer these calls...

I saved them in my phone as "immediately hang up on"

I GET CALLS FROM THESE IDIOTS ALL THE TIME. I'VE ASKED FOR THE SUPERVISOR THEN WHEN THE SUPERVISOR GETS ON THE PHONE I SAY EVERY MEAN THING ABOUT HIS MOM UNTIL HE HANGS UP I GUESS THAT IS WHY I GET A LOT MORE CALLS THAN ANYONE ELSE ABOUT 30 A DAY!

I got a call from them and i said im not interested in what your sellin and they said shut up [***] and it was some indian dude and i said shut up you stupid motha F*****,.

These people continue to call me from different number. I don't feel safe and I'm very uncomfortable with the fact that they have at least some of my information. He calls me with the stupid federal grant scam. Being a student I'm thinking oh okay this makes sense. But he would not tell me where he was from or what the name of this particular grant was. YES! Grants have names. He sounded Indian. And he did ask me if I was the owner of the phone. The call ended with him hanging up on me. I really want to know what to do to protect myself from these people.

You talking about someone pissed off is me I never heard something stupid until I got calls from these people sounding like Indians and they called me so much until I just answered and then want to say you have been selected for thousands and thousands of dollars from the gov. It was to different numbers who called me and I noticed something wasn't right so I called the police and the FBI so they can figure out where these people are located and put a stop to this because nobody needs to be scam.

this number called my house from amsterdam ny and asked for my sister and he said he got my number from her facebook page but she didnt put the number on facebook

This number has called me all day and wouldn't say anything. Finally they did talk and it was an Indian male saying I also got randomly selected for free grant money to start a new busn or do whatever I'd like. Wanted to know some info about my previous education and if I had a computer in my home? SCAM!!!
