recieved a call this evening from a officer patrick bell who had a really thick indian accent that i could barely understand. he stated that he was from the state investigation department and that I need to call him back before anything happens to me. he also stated the last four numbers of my ssn which really bothers me. but upon researching, this seems to be a scam.

received a call today from an officer Patrick Bell (phone number 518-649-8090) who had a really thick Indian accent that i could barely understand. he stated that he was from the state investigation department and that I need to call him back before anything happens to me.

I have recieved a call from this number and ended up talking to a Mark Thomas (has an Indian accent). I had not read this information and I ended up giving them my debit card number and adress.  They told me legal action was being taken against me because of a payday loan that i had taken out.  Now....  they had told me that my total to settle my "matter" out of court was going to be 786.00 and that I had to pay 300 to stop my case from going to court.  I was to fax them a signed paper stating when i was going to pay the rest but i saw this site (thank God). so i didn't fax.  Now...They are calling me Private telling me that since i didn't make a payment or fax anything they were going to issue a warrant for my arrest. I live in Texas so they told me my case was going to be forwarded to the sherriff in my county.  It's getting to be too much.....

i received a phone call from them this morning and they were trying to tell me(in their annoying accent) that they are going to withhold my ssn. when i told them i would call back once i contacted the company they claim has a claim against me, he said ok. when i called back, someone else said he was not available and that he was with an attorney and will cal me back in 30minutes. it has been almost an hour and a half. THEY ARE FAKE AND I PUT ALERTS ON ALL OF MY ACCOUNTS, SSN,& PHONE,

I also got a call from this number and the man that was talking to me I could hardly understand. His name was Peter Black from the investigation Department and that they were starting legal action against me. I had a very close friend check this out and they said it was a scam. She works in the legal department for the USAF. Thank Goodness for Good Friends

don't send any money these people are scam artists I have received several threatening phone calls at work saying that I would be arrested and the sheriff department where I live would be notified. I have a friend that is an attorney and he stated that they cannot arrest people who have defaulted on a pay day loan. DO NOT SEND any paperwork to these people with any signatures they will be investigated.

I received a call from 518-649-8090.  The person said they were a detective and after a couple of minutes into the conversation identified himself as Officer Adam Scott-Had heavy, heavy accent-Threatened me with legal action, stated he would turn me over to the state police in my home town and that I had to pay money owed on a payday loan. I have never taken out a "pay day loan"-Flat out refused to give me any info, was yelling, abusive and very obnoxious. Gave me a fax number to send info 206-426-5996 which is a number in Seattle, Washington.

I just received the same phone call from the same person. My lawyer called him back and he hung up on him.

Same call... Home and work office.  Kinda scary they know so much info. How is this possible?   Never had payday loan.  Wondering if I should be concerned about my bank account?

I have been dealing with these same # 518-649-8090 I have gotten 10 different officer or sargent names from them the funniest one is Rick James..They have called my work my cell phone left vm's that i have saved threating that i have gotten a payday loan and if i dont pay they are going to take me to jail..Today was my breaking point i have called them over 100 times today..I contacted the ny police where this number is supposly out of and When the most helpful trooper called the number they answer and when the trooper told them who they was they hung up of course...i have called over and over agian like i said today left them vm's like how do you like the harrassment which they probably dont care..But i have file a police report with my local sheriff department and they called them and they hung up on them they will not give me a address or any information of course..But it has gotten worse they called me back after i told them again not to call he told me to suck his d*** that he had all my information but there is one thing he dont have my P****..I told him if he wanted me to suck his u know what that he need to grow one and give me a address he told me not to call them again that they would file a police report for harrassment...I told him well see you in court because i already filed one...Please File a police reports do not sit on your A** and do nothing you have no reason to take this kind of harassment..Lets join together to get these alia ba ba people behind bars or something we have a voice lets use it..Sorry for all the stars but this is how bad these ppl will harass you i have been sexually threaten now and these ppl have my address scary..PLEASE HELP STOP THESE PEOPLE

Whenever anyone calls claiming they are an "Officer" ask for their badge number. It is highly illegal to represent yourself as an Officer of the Law when you are not. It's called impersonating an Officer. My co-worker took a phone call and wrote down their number. I called back and asked for his badge number. It shut him up real quick and in fact he requested I didn't call him back!!! Crazy!!!

There were 37 times that 518-649-8090 tried to call my house today; my 18 year old daughter answered one time and was told it was "Officer Tim Barker" from the Crime Investigation Department and if she didn't tell him where I was she would have charges brought against her.  My daughter told him she thought it was odd that someone who was clearly from The Middle East would be named Tim and she would tell me when I got home that he had called.  He continued to "harass" her so she told him she was only 15.  He then told her, "you better tell your mother to call or else."  I am so PO'd that a company would talk to someone like that and a person they don't have any business with.  I am 100% positive this is some kind of fraud.  

When "Officer Tim Barker" called again around 8:30, he talked so fast and with such an accent, I couldn't understand ONE word he said, so when I asked him to repeat what he was saying, his voice got angrier and he started yelling, so I just set the phone down and walked away!

an officer named  john foster stating that he was investigating me for fraud. he has my social security number home address and work number. when i actually talked to somene i started asking questions about who is investigating me and why. they told me that i applied for a payday loan and got an advance for 1500 dollars and have not paid it back. well truth is i did apply for a payday loan two weeks ago but i never received it. when he told me that i snapped. i knew then that this was bogus even after i reaad the posts that came up when i googled the numbers. i never received any payday loans over the internet. for one they kept asking me to submit my information too many times. i really hate repitition. and two they kept sending me to different sites. so i unsubmitted my request. again this was two weeks ago. if any of you have ever gotten a payday loan you know they dont work like that. the loan company will call you before they take any legal action. and if they are like ezmoney they will just sit and wait until you come in to cash a check and they deduct it from that. he was really relentless. he called out family members names that i dont have and said they would be arrested too. along with any friends of mine. i told him i didnt care and hung up. he called back and said that he called the local police department and that they would be coming in twenty minutes. i told them i was waiting on the porch and it should not take twenty minutes because the subdivision is only two blocks away and the main precinct is eight blocks away. anyway i ended up calling them back and asking them why i am not behind the bars as i have not left my location. he was truly pissed, but o well, so was i. find someone to play with. and stop playing with peoples hard-earned money.

Got so many calls and voice mails today from an officer Daniel Jones, so funny, it was not even convincing. He stated that i took a loan out with Cash advance USA and i am being charged with check fraud, along with other things. when i ask him what other things he did not answer the question. he said the matter needed to be taken care of immediately. i told him to mail me some paper work and that i don;t except [***] from unknown numbers. Then he said fine i am gonna lock you up in his India accent. lol. He kept calling so i pick up and told him to talk to my husband who is police officer and he hung up fast.

i have also received this very same call with the name of daniel jones regarding my ss number, i call [***], all he is doing is trying to get our socials, what he will do is call and ask for your social, well sorry not getting it bud you arent stealing my identity for one, and for two they should have the stuff on record if they are calling me about something!

I received a call from a Officer John Wright today stating that received a payday loan and when they tried to get the first payment it was returned by my bank and I need to pay the $300 today to stop the legal actions they have filled against me. I asked him for the name, date I receive the loan and date they tried to get the payment, he could only give me Cash.net. He didn't have the dates. When I told him I was looking at my bank statement for the past two months and there was no return item on it he told me the bank must have left it off. So I told him I would have to call him back that I had an important call coming through. After researching on the web for a law enforcement agency called Financial Crimes Enforcement Networt with the phone #5186498090, I came across numerous sites about these people. So I called back asking for one of the names someone else had and he said he was him, so I hung up and called back, same guy answered so I asked for another name I made up and he said he was him I laughed told him I just made up that name and he hung up.

Another message from this number...saying they are looking for someone...that they are from police department and he is wanted. Then called saying they were from FBI. I reported it to police
