Same scam different spoofed number, I received two calls earlier from a similar number with a different area code but same last digits. A man with a heavy Indian accent claiming to be "technical support" they're spoofing numbers which means they can make the caller ID show whatever name and number they want an trying to get access to your computer by overriding and hacking. Just hang up on them or better yet don't answer the phone cause that will just make them call all day and night.

Or some kind of magic jack phone numbers, They are relentless. Keeps calling every hour!

claimed to be microsoft help desk answering a report of log-on issues.  Problem is that I had not reported any issues

Scammer claiming to be Windows Service Desk. Similar call recently attacked my Pastors computer. He let them into computer without knowing. I told guy I don't have a Windows computer and slammed the phone. DO NOT FALL FOR THESE GUYS. THEY ARE CROOKS AND ONLY WANT ACCESS TO YOUR COMPUTER AND PASSWORDS. THERE IS NOTHING AT ALL WRONG WITH YOUR COMPUTER. THEY ARE LYING.

I have caller ID and answering machine.  Party has called  as many as four times a day. I will not answer if I don't know who it is.  That girl, you verified what I though. It is a spoofing number.  If I don't answer the phone they call back with another number in five minutes sometimes.  Today party called and just laid the phone down.  I could hear people talking in the back ground.  I just picked the phone up and hung up.
