Just received a call on my landline...didn't answer as it seemed like an odd number...my phone usually rings 3 times if it is a long distance number...it rang as if it was local (Kitchener, ONT), but my display screen said long distance....

Duct cleaning

Called here in Brantford. Caller hung up when voicemail answered. March 19, 3 p.m.

I get calls for duct cleaning service. I first ask them if they clean ducts. They say they do,  then I ask them if they clean chickens, there is a pause on the other end, then I ask them how about pigeons or canary's, believe me they hang up.

I have asked and asked them to remove me from their call list and they just rudely hang up and then call back later. This is harassment in my opinion. PLease make this stop.

Air duct cleaning. I told her I felt sorry for her and for the first time did not get angry. They have called a lot, even after new number, dncl. Can we sue the cleaning company itself?

called me all the time, like once a month, provide duct cleaning service, with a strong Indian accent, maybe called from the call centre in India but used PC phone number. Told them million times please remove my name from the calling list but they never listen, they are so annoying, who can save us?

Not much you can do about the repeated calls.If you subscribed like I did to the government do not call list you made the same mistake I did. Offshore companies and telemarketers are entitled to our " Do Not Call Information" because they do not fall under so called "Canadian Laws". I was informed that they can request all phone numbers on the Do Not Call list in Canada through the Freedom Of Information Act that our illustrious government made made available to companies outside Canada. Sweet deal Huh!

Try a telemarketing  blocking software. or find out if your phone company offers a a phone call blocking service.

I guess we just have to book the appointment and cancel when they show up!

i call bell canada and my lawer as wall and the cop's i did not have to pay the bill.

Just got about my 10th call from this man. Today I ended up yelling at him.  Got one just 2 days ago late at night.  I guess I am going to have to stop answering. I have told him time after time I don't need air duct cleaning because I live in a rental - yet same guy keeps calling back usually every other day

I've received a call from this number several times in the past month. Each time the callers talk about duct cleaning. Each time I told them to take my number off their call list...this hasn't happened yet. I also told them that I had no ducts to clean and that my number is on the no-call list. Also, I couldn't make out the company name as their English wasn't good.

Have had repeat calls from this #. I have told them I'm on DNC list, but that just makes them hang up on me, but they call back the next business day. Caller says his name is 'John' and company is 'Orient Air Duct Cleaning Services'. I have lodged a complaint with DNC list. Suggest everyone else do the same. Worked with Bell.

Scumbag "John" phoned yesterday from this number. Must have changed the company name...he now calls it "Home Services" (violation, because there is another company with a good reputation with this name) The company name will probably change again tomorrow. He had a special on air duct cleaning. (very difficult to understand him) When I asked how he got my number he said "directory assistance" Told him he is being reported. Fellow named "Simon" called re: air duct cleaning.  After saying "Hello" 5 times, "Simon" finally said, "Hello."  I Told him to check the Nat'l Do Not Call List.  He told me I'm not on that list as he had checked it and that's why I was getting the call.  I asked for his telephone number so I could call him back after I checked the registry.  (My phone indicated the number was 519.811.0213)  The number he gave me was 905.800.2425.  When I asked why the discrpancy, he hung up.
