We repeatedly receive calls from this number and they never leave a message.  We get calls at all times of the day and every day of the week.

they keep calling my house. who are they?

The Caller ID says it is Operations Division. I called them back and they answered as GC Collections. They wanted my name and when I said no, they hung up on me.

Called but didn't leave a message... Caller ID says Operations Division...  when I called it was GC Services but they didn't know why they had called.

They call and ask for someone who doesn't live there.

Presumably they are a collection agency practicing illegal telephone collection activity.

The operator had asked to speak to someone in Payroll about a involuntary wage garnisheeing  after she had disclosed a number they had been given in Rathdrum,ID. mentioning it was the same business,etc...

They are most definitely a collections agency of some sort. They are either representatives of a bank or some loan payment place. They are affiliated with numerous companies including Wells Fargo and Compass bank. They're calling for money.. period just money that they think you owe to one of their clients.

GC Services is the largest privately-held outsourcing provider of call center management and collection agency services in North America.

I get calls from them all the time...have yet to answer one, they never leave a message...we don't owe anyone any money so I'm assuming its a solicitor or
someone phishing for info..............

Called my number asking for info about a cousin I haven't talked to in years.  Wouldn't say what they wanted. They mentioned my father's first name as a reference and wanted to contact him.  I said my  Father passed away 3 years ago. At that point Operations Division caller hung up on me.

we get calls for a past employee, who has not been here for a number of years, HR tells them not to call and they still call.

they are trying to collect on student loans. Who ever had this number before me must owe them some money. They stop calling me for a little while after I tell them he doesn't have this number anymore but inventionaly it starts up again. I have 3 different phone numbers they use.

They are a collection agency for student loans, and have called me quite often, asking for someone I have never heard of.

they're hired by a lot of companies.  they are thugs.  get this:  the feds contracted w/ them to collect on student loans--and they violate the very terms of the collections act that the feds put into law.

I get calls from this number. Don't know who it is and no name on my caller id.

They started calling my home number and cell phone number a couple months back.  They'd never leave a message.  After getting tired of seeing thier number show up on my cell phone, I called the number back.  I got a gal that confirmed that they'd called.  They were looking for my old boyfriend.  I told her that he didn't live here and I didn't want to hear from them any more.  

Thought that was it, but the next day I got a call from "George" from GC Services.  He was tracking down my old boyfriend about (Sally Mae) college loans that are over 20 years old.  George had linked the boyfriend to me, and even linked up to my Father who lives in a different state.  After he'd called my father, he called me.

I explained that the boyfriend no longer lived here, and I didn't know where he was.  I requested that they stop calling me, remove me from their list as I pay my bills and have absolutely no outstanding student loans...I never even had loans when I went to college.  George ended the conversation requesting that if I talk to the boyfriend, to have him call George back.

Since that time, I randomly get calls that either doesn't show any name on Caller ID it just shows the number...or I get a call from Operations Division.  Thanks to the links on this and other "Who called me" type of web-sites, I've filed a complaint with the FTC.  Hopefully the FTC will step in and GC Services will stop calling.

Just got a call from this #, No message.

Every time i call back to see who this is it is an outbound number only. So frusterating also they call more then three times a day...

The call comes in as Operations Division   they are looking for the person who had the phone number before we were assigned it (almost 5 years ago)  it is debt collections  we have requested each new collection agency to remove our number from being associatied with this person but to no avail.. the number sticks like glue.. each ageny forwards the number with his name.. I am ready to contact the BBB to see if they can convince some one to remove the number..
