This number has called my personal cell phone 5 times in the last 30 minutes and every time I answer there's no one there and when I call the number back it goes straight to voicemail. ???

i wish this person from this phone would stop calling me it is getting a little annoying.

We receive phone calls from this number several times a week, but when we answer the phone, it is an automatic hangup! Im going to check into getting this number blocked from my phone....

The person that eventually comes on the line identified the company as resessionproofusa.  A google search turns up this number 520-303-1340 as their main business number.  The web site is ressessionproofusa.biz and it has much the same pitch they will give you on the phone if you listen to them.  The quickest way to piss them off is to act "slow" and ask them questions.  They get very impatient, even nasty within a minute or two.  Though they won't tell you, they are selling a program for generating income through online affiliate marketing.  The teaser line they use in their canned speech pops up Amazon.com and other big companies.

They are pushing you to buy their system (which is probably hosted on their servers, so far as I can tell, which means they can continue to drain your account for ongoing fees for the program, hosting, and probably membership in their plan.  The system is to build a web page (blog) that talks about a product or series of products, and make money through the commissions you get for recommending the products.  The commissions are fairly low because they are pushing Amazon affiliate, but you could actually make some money if they don't drain your account for their "fees".

You can certainly do this yourself, without the big outlay of cash they want from you.  If you do sign up with them, be prepared for an initial cost, followed by the 'suggestion" that to make any money, you will need "counseling", and by the way, they will claim to have the best counselors in the business...

Yeah, right, and I've got shares in a certain orange bridge between San Francisco and Sausalito I can sell you if you believe what they say...

The best way to get rid of them is to tell them you don't have either a credit card or debit card, or that the feds locked up all your accounts because of tax fraud.  That way they lose interest because they don't have any way to get money from you.

Thank you Rick!  I have this number on my list of unwanted calls and it's good to note the name of the business as RecessionproofUSA when I file my formal complaints with National Do Not Call, FCC, BBB, etc.  I am really on a quest to put a stop to the abusive phone calls I have been receiving and hope to enlist a few more folks who are willing to do the same.

My number is registered on National Do Not Call.  I have received calls from this number - II haven't spoken to anyone, yet.  Please note the following experience I had with another company which is doing the same thing.  (They are all trying to sell you on the idea of a work from home business.)

I advised "Tony West" of Higher Impact, Inc to remove me from their calling list.  He was soliciting home based business opportunities and claimed he had my number from an online survey source called Home Business Connection.  Although I repeatedly told him I had no interest or need to earn money from my home - he persisted and insisted that I had 'at some point' requested the information he had to offer.  Finally, I advised him that I would spend my spare time filing the necessary complaints with the FCC, BBB and National Do Not Call until his business was heavily fined and hopefully issued a cease and desist all unwanted phone solicitation.  I told him to get a "real" job and stop harrassing people.  Beware of these scams!  These callers will not allow you to get a word in -- they keep talking -- keep insisting you had requested the information through a survey, website, etc.  They want to play you pre-recorded testimonials of other scammers, who claim to have made their fortune with some unnamed company -- and claim it's so easy! you can work from home! become independently wealthy!  DON'T FALL FOR IT!!  They want your credit card information so they can hook you into a pyramid scheme.  You give them $200 or more "investment" and you too can become just like them!  You will have to call people and get their credit card information and convince them that they will make a fortune working from home; and so on....  You never really sell a 'product'; rather the opportunity to be a nuisance in someone else's life.  Don't give any telephone number (home, cell, work) to anyone other than those with whom you do business and provide the protective clause that your information will not be sold or used for solicitation of any kind.  Some of the comments these people have given have been off the hook!  I asked one guy "are you so thick that you can't grasp the concept that I am not interested? and to removed my name & number from your list?"  He then said "are you such a redneck that you don't want to earn money working from home?"  When I told another guy that I didn't need any extra money I have all I need -  He said "Really?  How much money do you have?"  I am appalled at what these people are getting away!  Believe me, I will spend as much time as possible putting a stop to this in my life.  If it weren't for a few people standing up years ago; there wouldn't be a National Do Not Call Registry and certain laws in place to keep this type of behavior from happening.  I suggest you all do your part in reporting these nuisance callers.  Keep a log of the numbers, names of businesses, names of callers; and get as much information from them while they are on the phone with you.  Don't let them off easy!  They interrupted your day - make them account for that.  Make them provide you answers to as many questions as you can think of and really make them uncomfortable.  Don't let them win!

Just received a call from this person.  A girl who said her name was "Lisa" told me that she heard I wanted to earn money from home.  When I asked her how she got my number, she told me (no lie - this just happened) "Girl, I am going to call you back like 20 times"...I told her I was going to go and block her number she informed me to "go ahead and try"....I am going to find out how to complain about this harrassment...&(**&*&%*&^(*)_)(&(*

I've recieved many calls from this number, when I called them back the phone just ring until it went to voice mail. I want them to stop calling me!!!!!

I continue to get calls from this number 50-303-1340 and no message, it is annoying.

I've reported them every time to the do not call registry. Seems to be a waste of time. I'm reporting them next to the FTC.

Have you had any success in reporting them. I need your advice.

I wrote a letter to the BBB in Az and now they are processing it. I am also calling the State's attorney and I suggest all of you do the same. The squeaky door gets the most attention.

i just got off the phone its a scam.  opener calls ask if you want to make money from home ask if you have a credit card but any questions and they get nasty if you tell them i dont know who you are they saythey dont know who you are i follow up with you called me they get mad and hang up

They keep calling and hanging up. I have asked them to stop calling for 3 weeks now!

They called me and said, that they where calling me back about what ever they are selling, and I only asked one question "Do you know who I am?" The female on the line said "ya your en [***]" and then she hung up.

Sad to see people like this getting away with screwing up someones day.

When I tried to call back the voice mail picked up and said Magic Jack voice mail was full.

does anyone have FCC, or BBB or Do not call list numbers? or website of those department so i can call and report this numbers and blocking them from calling me? thanks

I have gotten several calls from this number of the past few days and tried to call them back but just get their answering machine...will try to block their calls!
