i just got a call too, might be 800 number

when i answered a call from this number i was prompted with an offer to lower the interest rate on my credit card by pressing "1". i assume it was a phishing scam

Just got this call. I almost answered because my dad lives in that area code. But I did not recognize the number--so I did not answer. I tried to call it back and it said that the number did not accept incoming calls. BEWARE!!

I got a call from this number as well. I did not answer it. I didn't recognize the number so I called it back and it said this carrier has chosen not to receive incoming calls. So it must be a telemarketer or scam.

i just got a home phone hooked up with a nonpublished number. we use this for emergency only. i just heard the phone ring...did not even know what the ringer sounded like...but when i answered there was nobody on the other end. i do not know how or why anyone would even have the number!!!

Yeah I just got this call on my cell phone now and I don't believe they should be calling cellular numbers because of them not being published

I just got a call from this number and did not answer as I have a very expensive cell phone.  I saw on the internet that it is a landline and is in Tuscon Az.  in Pima county.   Hung up before it could leave message as it cost me one dollar for a message to be left.

Just changed my home phone to an unpublished number and this was the first call received on my new number.  They did not leave a voicemail.  Must be an automated calling system since no one even had my new phone number yet.  These types of calls were the reason I changed my number.  I guess there's no getting rid of annoying unwanted phone calls!!!

I thought 'unsolicited calls' by auto-dialers had been outlawed...
where do we report these types of calls so as to get them stopped?

Same thing, call from 520-519-9832. Didn't answer. I'm in the Nashville, TN area.

I also just received a call from 520-519-9832 but I did not answer the call.  I googled the number and that is how I found this site.  Sucks that telemarketers are calling Cell phones now.

Just received a call from this number, didn't bother answering, as i normally only answer calls from people who are listed on my contact list.  Thank goodness for this website so I could do an instant check on this number, now I know I did the right thing by NOT answering this call.

It is urgent that you contact us concerning your eligibility for lowering your interest rates to as little as 6.9% your eligibility expires shortly, so please consider this your final notice press the number one on your telephone now to speak with a live operator to lower your interest rates.

So, yeah...scam.
