Whoever it is doesn't speak English

these people call asking for the owner and when you say you are the owner they say good day and hang up.

A man called for the owner asking for "Tom"...which he never goes by. I asked who was calling he said John, I asked John who... He replied John Cross. I asked with who? He replied Cross Construction, we've been doing business. I told him Tom wasn't in. He asked for his cell #. I told him I could get a message to Tom if he would like....he hung up. I know for a fact we have never had any business with a Cross Construction out of Tucson Az.

Just had the same call.. it was Cleveland Brown from Brown construction (cute name). My secretary refused to give out my cell after he requested it and asked for me by name. He persisted and said it would be our little secret, then got rude and said don't be sorry ill call back and hung up when she did not give in to his request.
Curious what scam they are running...

Just got this call at 7:50 am on our LANDLINE phone which is always a red flag - our biz uses a cell number for all business related matters.  He asked for Joshua and I replied with "IT IS NOT EVEN 8 AM AND YOU ARE CALLING HERE?"  he apologized and just kept asking for him and told me his name was Brian Anderson from Anderson Heating!  Asked if he should just call him on his cell, acting like he had his cell number.......I hung up.  

Same story. Called asking for the owner, said he was returning his call. Something Reid with Reid Construction.  He asked for his cell number and I said why don't I send him your number? He said, "Okay, thanks that would be great." CLICK.    

They call every hour and hang up. If I dont pick up they leave a VM    TEST TEST HI TEST??????

I got John Reed from Reed Construction.  They usually say "Is Brian in? I'm just returning a phone call." He also said he was trying to reach him on his cell and that he left it on his desk. I don't know what they are trying to accomplish though.

Got a call from this number (caller said he was from Chad Reed Construction) asking for the owner by name. When he was told the owner wasn't in, he was returning a call & asked for owner's cell #. Told him I couldn't give it out but would take a message, he said he would call back. Have gotten similar calls before from same number but we don't do business with a Chad Reed Construction and he never leaves a message so suspect he is a telemarketer.

Called us asking for owner and wanting his cell number. Said we could take a message. Was nasty and hung up.

Called here and asked for owner by first name, I asked who was calling he said "Big Joe", I asked from which company an and he said "CCS".....I asked if I could get a message as owner was unavailable.  He said it was no big deal and that he would call back (lucky me!) and he hung up.

These people are so rude they will not stop calling
