called me numerous times at 4:30 in the morning (I live in Atlanta), until I blocked the number.  There was only dead air the couple of times I answered.

called me at 3:30 am hawaii time and when i picked up, nothing.

Got a call and when I did not pick. A blank VM was left.

Calls me and a bunch of touch tones... (like the old Disney VHS Sounds) and then hangs up. Weird.

I received a call with this number 520-731-5766 on the caller id.    I did not recognize the number so I did not pick it up.  I looked online and found it was a land line in Tucson, Arizona.     I could not find a name from Google'ing the number.   My phone rang again and I saw the number again on my caller id.   This time, I picked it up and found it was a customer service representative from Anthem Blue Cross. The day before, I had called my health insurance company, Anthem Blue Cross in California to ask if I needed to have a medical procedure pre-approved.  A customer service representative named Angel said she would check and call me back the next day.   This was apparently her calling me as she said she would.   So, Anthem Blue Cross of California must employ customer service people from other states, in this case, Arizona.   I'm just glad it wasn't a telemarketer.

I had the same experience as Kerry.  I enrolled for an Anthem Blue Cross medical plan using the Covered California program.  A customer service representative from Anthem called me back from this number.  At first I did not pick up the call because the number was titled "APAC Customer S" and I thought it was a phone solicitor.  

Answered phone the other end was dead air
