- irritatedThis number calls me every month. My ID caller says Tucson AZ. Its always about computer maintenance and I believe its scammers. I dialed *69 (which I paid for) to get the number. When I dial back I get a 'not in service' recording.
It may be time to start tracing these calls via the local phone company so that the feds can catch these people. Scammers are threats to people because they are trying to scam us out of our money. Your phone company has a way to trace a call. You can dial the number they provide after a scam call. You should get a recording that its traced but you will not know anything about it. After a certain number of traces the calls can be considered abuse, harassment, perhaps even stalking. Might be the only way to stop the scams and all the repeated calls.- Caller: Computer Maintenance
- Call type: Telemarketer
- irritated replies to RBActivate call trace and let the authorities pursue the scammer.
