this number called today at 14.30. When I answered all I heard was a recorded message saying "Goodbye"!

i answerd this number and i said hi and no responce i said hi again they said hi then it said i want to know who this is and i hung up it was long distance i live in canada and it was a usa caller i think it was a prank i never got a call back

They called saying it was an association that helps look for lost dogs.

Received two calls from this number stating they were calling from Window's Service desk and I have errors popping up on my computer that can only be fixed with there help. I refused and they hung up on me

I picked up and didn't say anything - they hung up.  I guess it's an autodialler looking for a human being and probably those Windows help-desk con-artist creeps judging from the calls other people have received.  On another note - there really should be a Call Type of SCAM on here.  Maybe there's a legal issue with identifying a specific phone number as a Con-Artist... Really - are they going to try to sue for defamation of character?

I got a call from this number with a recorded message saying that there was a legal case opened against me by IRS, and that I should immediately call another number - 509-590-2216.
Clearly a scam!

Answered this phone number today - was told the IRS is suing me and provided a phone number with 202 area code to call back (which I didn't do).

I got the same message on my answering machine. They said they were from the IRS but the machine cut it off before they were finished. I'm not calling back, I think it's a scam.
