- anonymousSounds like a SCAM. Caller left a message regarding my credit card balance. Many other posters reporting calls from same number. Those who have picked up the phone were asked many questions about their credit card information. Caller ID says, "Dennis Jeffrey". When this phone number is googled, it comes up registered to a Jeffery Dennis, in Vinton, Va. It
is possible that this guy has had his phone hi-jacked (spoofed) by scammers. If the call was legitimate, caller would not have to ask any questions about our credit cards in order to "lower the interest rates and/or balance". If you get a call from this number, don't answer the phone. It is likely that "Dennis Jeffrey" is NOT the one behind the call......but very likely
that some SCAMMER has hi-jacked his phone number and personal information.- Caller: SCAMMER
