Just got the same call and it was a recording stating that I just won something. Figured it was scam since they have no idea who I am nor have I ever applied for anything..... so I hung up.

Since the Do Call Registry does not serve it's purpose in stopping these unwanted callers I have another idea and hopefully it will work. If everyone that is listed on the Registry and continue to get these calls try this idea. It's time to begin a petition and send it the Govt including the President. If they get enough of these petitions allowing the Media to be aware of it too maybe they will do something about it. Just google Free online petitions and there are several sites that will assist you in creating one. Create another free email address just for the purpose of the petition to avoid spammers when the petition goes around.

Click on this link and it will take you to their site. Read the reviews ppl have written which states a lot of negative things about them. One states they are scammers and identity thieves. It states they are a merchant.

Not going to do much good if the company calling does not obey the law, or even check the do not call registry. Would be stupid / pointless to petition the govt about it.

They said I would win a cruise if I just completed this survey. I knew it was as scam. I pressed the wrong buttons--really large numbers. in the end I was disconnected. I knew this was a scam from the get go.

I just got a call from this number. I answered, no one there. Im curious if any of you signed up for the Amazon Kindle Fire sweepstakes thats been going on. Hopefully they didnt get hacked

I got this same call at work today and didn't answer and when you try the number back it's just a busy signal

I just got this call too, I didn't answer in time so I tried to call back and the lines busy.

They called me from this number, you call back and get a cont' busy signal. I think that there are companies who get paid for each number they call, if you answer the phone. Then of course they just hang up. I think I heared years ago that they get anywhere from ten cent to a dollar per call. No conversation needed, you just answer, they hear your voice and hang up. And I bet it's someone wealthy of the upper 1% that that the Occupy Wallstreet protesters are pissed at! It is someone linning their pockets from the average citizen. They are destroying this country with greed.

I saw a call coming through at 12:54pm CST. I didn't pick up- and they didn't leave a voicemail (of course). I called back, and it's just a busy signal. I don't think ANY company should be able to call cell phones- period.

Same same as with eveyone else.  1st junk call on my cell ever, 2+ years.

Just received cell call from same. Thing is, my home phone had rung just prior. We don't have caller ID, but I almost never answer my home phone.

These people call my cell a couple times a day.  I got tired of it and answered it today.  When the woman began some stupid schpele about a cruise I rudely interrupted her and told her I was a police detective and wanted to know why she was calling this cell phone and where she was between midnight and four last night.  she stuttered a bit and hung up.  I hope my number's been removed.

should be some way to stop this crap. when you pay for your air on cell you don't need harrassment of missed calls to find out it is telemarketing or some sales gimmick or someone trying to scam you. to bad you can't get a phone to fry their service.
