I had this number on my phone today (didn't answer it).  I think it called me a few months ago as well.  Wouldn't surprise me if this is OSU, since I'm a student there.  It's too bad they're telemarketing our info.

I missed a call from this number (which is in my area, judging from the area code) last night. They didn't leave a message or call back.

Looks like I got spammed by them too.

OSU Foundation.  Yes, I have an affiliation with OSU, but they are calling my cell, which is a number I gave ONLY for use in an emergency regarding my son who is a student.  I gave everyone else at OSU my home number. Obviously they share without restraint.  I answered the call because it said OSU and I thought it might be an emergency.  The guy immediately launched into a script and I could barely interrupt him to ask why he was callign this number.  No answer to that question; he just called the number they gave him.  The guy tried every angle under the sun, and kept talking in spite of my asurance that since I am paying tuition I have NO money available to donate.  I nearly had to hang up on him, but after the 10th assurance that I did not have any money to donate, to visit in person, or to purchase overpriced gift packs for my student, he finally gave up.

They called me as well, looks like an OSU thing. I am not a student but I am the emergency contact of a student.  Its troubling that OSU would use this information in this manner.

Didn't answer. We are OSU alumni though.

Same here, current student, and like you I am wondering how they are allowed to use our contact numbers for their benefit.

We are in another state and not affiliated with OSU. Hangs up immediately when answered.  Probably an automated dialer.

My cell was also supposed to be EMERGENCY ONLY for my daughter.  Is nothing sacred? Changes my whole impression of OSU!!!

I called the number back and a voice mail answered saying it is the OSU tele-fund.  This is the third time they have called and hung up in the past week.

Called...no voicemail...googled it..and it's from osu..which I have NO connection to whatsoever. Who the hells goin my number out?! NOT [***] OK!

Calls weekly. Leaves no msg. OSU wanting money.
