Scum bags! I do not know the women they are calling about but since she lives down the street they feel that they can call me, be rude, and ask me to give her a mes from them? I asked who they were calling from and she would not say but hung up on me. I called her back, love *69, and she hung up on me again when I said to not call my house and that I did not know the women down the block and would not give her a mes from a collection agency.

I just got a call from them today and some lady says my student loan is moving in to collections and asked if I wanted to settle it now. I have never taken out a student loan in my life, and my credit report is fine. She asks for my birthday and I tell her I am not giving her any information. She gets pissed and hangs up. Calling me on the cell phone no less.

Got a call from this number on my cell phone. I did not answer, since I never answer any calls from numbers I don't recognize.  They did not leave a message.  I have no student loans, but my sister does.  After reading this site, I wonder if they were attempting to contact her through me. Call Date May 5, 2008 at 12:22PM Eastern.  To my knowledge they should not be calling my cell for such things.

Problem is "Brandon" is the fact that DCS are using deceptive practices, calling next door neighbors, going through old files & trying to contact people that are not in any relation to the individual.

Bottom line is this, the country is at a standstill.  And will continue to be.    I think people are being honest.  If they are not able to make payments at this time then they are not able to pay at this time.  

Paige Andrews has been using deceptive practices in making calls.  Calling relatives that have nothing to do with me, calling friends I don't even know, looking at photos online & trying to contact people that may be in pictures with another person to try & contact them.  Deceptive practices are illegal. Additionally, there needs to be a way to fight back these deceptive practices.

Allan Scott from Diversified Collection Services has been calling me at work - OVER AND OVER!  I have mailed them and asked them stop calling my work - now he calls and tells otehr employees if I wont talk to him that he is going to garnish my wages!

for all you people:  "do not call list" does not apply to collections.  THERE IS NO LIST.  to all the others who think DCS is scamming, why don't you google "skip tracing?"

you take the time to sit here and write about people calling for other people that you have "NO IDEA" who they are. then why not just simply take the time to say, "HEY I DON'T KNOW THAT PERSON". and why is it that when someone takes out a loan they think they don't have to pay? and if you're unable to pay, there are ways to resolve it, you just don't take the time to listen. you wouldn't go into a store and say, "HEY, LET ME GET ALL THESE GROCERIES NOW AND I'LL PAY LATER FOR THEM" and then don't really pay back, that's STEALING! and people wonder why the country is in such debt?! AMAZING! people need to man up or woman up to their responsibilities and quit acting like children....

Someone who is smart... Even a crack head knows that sh*t happens, people loose jobs, have medical problems, become disabled (which you I'm sure can relate)and they can't pay debt. Maybe in your fairyland of high paying jobs, steady incomes and lack of financial disasters it is possible for everyone to keep up on their debt. But not in the real world.

Here is my suggestion to you. Go buy a visa, take it to the sporting goods store, buy a shotgun. Then pay off your debt, put the shotgun in your mouth then squeeze the trigger.

Thanks to Google for this page.  I owe, yes, I want to pay, but can't, but they don't seem to listen.  Somehow they want me to come up with money that just isn't there.

I took out a loan when in school, boy do I wish I hadn't. I was unable to finish school due to my mothers and my own health. I'm in the process of trying to get my disability. I want to be able to pay them, but simply can't right now. I tried explaining that to them. Their response was "How are you living then? Who pays your bills and buys you food?" I told them I got help from my family; their response was to tell me to beg my family for some money to pay them. I told them my family was on a shoestring budget and couldn't help any more than they already are. This company infuriates me!!!
