My "caller ID" showed the caller as "American Reside", with this phone number.  When I answered, a male named Doug (?) started in about "solar" something.  I interrupted him and informed him I was on a "Do Not Call" list, so why was he calling?  As I started to ask that he remove my name from his call list, he hung up on me.

I'm in California.  The area code of this caller's phone number is in Florida.  A long way from home...

Gosh!  I'm sick of these people!  Scammers and harassers!

Upon further investigation, it has been determined that this complaint has been directed at the wrong company.  American Residential Warranty (ARW) engages in the business of selling Home Service Agreements which cover home appliances and systems.  ARW does not nor has ever marketed, sold, or promoted solar panels.  Additionally, American Residential Warranty does not cold call any consumers regarding our home warranty products.

Recently we have received calls from other consumers (primarily that are on the DNC registry) that have been offered Solar Panels and subsequently insulted and treated poorly when services have been declined.  After speaking with each of these consumers it has been determined that these calls actually relate to another company that outsources their telemarketing initiatives to third party call centers.  Unfortunately one or more of these call centers is spoofing their caller ID by showing our dedicated phone number, 561-226-4140 as well as our corporate name.  

We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused, and we are working diligently to investigate and address the issue.  

We ourselves have opened up complaints regarding these practices that are being unfairly targeted against our company, with the FTC (reference # 48333699), the FCC (reference #13-T01268641) as well as both the Florida and California State Attorney Offices and the Division of Consumer Services (complaint #166044)

getting tired phone scam calling 24 hour day scaming me out of money

getting tired of northland group inc sears credit card &general electric credit send me black mail &scam letter out to me in mail every time i am going take it court

This is American Residential Warranty a home warranty company that many buying a new home will hear from. Or if there was a free warranty placed on your home at purchase, when it expires, they will call to renew. It is a GREAT company and inexpensive solution to cover appliances etc after warranty expires.

I am sick and tired of these people harassing me on the phone and calling 6 or more times a day. I ask that they stop calling and the lady says they don't have to stop calling us. I told her I'm reporting her to our sheriffs department for harassing me on the phone she said ha ha ha try and do that because we will NOT stop calling you. I called the do not call people to have them blocked from my phone number

They called me and tried saying that I had called them a few days earlier and that they were following up. This is absolutely not true. I checked my outbound call logs and no one made a call to them.

I've been getting calls from them for weeks. I never answer and they never leave a message--a sign of a scammer. I suspect they are scraping phone numbers from job sites because the calls started after I sent out my resume looking for a job. I would like to report them to somebody but not sure who I should contact.

I hate these stupid calls.  I hang up immediately every time.  I DONT PURCHASE ANYTHING OVER THE PHONE FOR ANYONE.

These calls really scare me.  I don't want men from companies calling me and knowing my name.  I am turning this number into the police department for harassment.

I have 20 calls from this number.  No message, just hangups.  I am so sick of these scammers.  One called me yesterday about - get this "The strippers you" ordered or something such.  Another means of sexual harassment via telephone.  I was kind enough to mention that I would have him arrested if he called again as yes, I too am on the Do Not Call List.  I was not so kind in calling him a whammy of a good cuss!  He caught me at a moment ripe for striking back...  I know that they are not worth the rage and certainly not worthy of getting a rise out of me.  I was slipping....

While I have 20 calls from the 561 number, the stripper guy was actually calling from 408-726-5578.

I agree  with American residential warranty. I've personally dealt with them in the past and I think it's a shame that these scammers use of the companies to try to rip people off. They need to get off their [***] and get a decent job and earn a decent living.  Use the brain that God gave you.

888-475-5566 is also spoofing your number as American Residential Warranty, can you handle this one??
