Caller hung up when I answered

asked for me then hung up and i tried to call back but its busy

I got call at 850am. called back and got a busy signal.

just received a call from this number also about 1:17PM

On 3/24/2008 I received a call at 8:16 Pm
from 561-296-1952 and when answered the
caller hung up!  WTF????

today at 11:54am 4/12/2008 I answered the call and the the caller hung up,

Got a call at 3:45PM 5/19/08 from WPB FL. Caller hung up.

got a call at 2:17PM from this number - caller hung up.

Got a call at 7:35pm. Called back and got a busy signal.

I got a call on June 23rd at 8 forty and they hung up on me

Just got a call from this number and the caller identified himself as "John" from the Police Benevolent Assn. He asked for a donation.  And when I asked for information to be sent, he became very upset and told me how tight the police were and how much they needed help.  He repeated twice "Times are tough, times are tough!"  Then he went to say children are gettin kidnapped and women are getting raped and that I as a woman I better be careful.  He then hung up.  I am going to try to see who this is because it have me very concerned.  Someone who claims they are from the same company has also called my mother who is elderly and it has now come to harrassment.

Just called me again! I never answer it but the same number calls me at least 2 or 3 times a week.

Recently I hung up on a call from the Police Benevolent Association and now wonder if this was the reason that 561-296-1952 keeps calling my number (spent real money to *69 and find the source).

8/17/09 5:43PM Constantly get called from this number - say hello, and they hang up. Are they just logging dials to houses to get 'fake' credit at the PBA for contacting so many people, when in fact they aren't talking to 90% of them? I will NEVER have anything to do with this group - as they are not taking responsibiity for it.  It's been going on for almost 2 years. Why doesn't the phone company do something!  No one care -'It's not my problem' is the answer you get from those that CAN do something.

This number has called and called and when I ANSWER NO COMMENT. THIS IS DISGUSTING AS I AM LOOKING SEEING ALL OF THESE COMPLAITS ABOUT THIS "NUMBER" AND YET THEY ARE STILL ALLOWED TO HAVE PHONE SERVICE? IF THEY WERE IN CHINA MAYBE THEY'D HAVE THEIR HAND CUT OFF !!!!
