AVALON shows up on caller id. It's from the american paralyzed vetrans ass.

Avalone called at 306pm jan 17. I answered girls giggling and then asked for Mr. Alvarez i siad he was not home and asked to take a message they said no and hung up. who is this??

I just got the call and let it go to Voicemail. The person who said this is "american paralyzed veterans" is probably correct. I regularly get calls from Veteran organizations asking for donations or wanting to send me free lightbulbs and such. I am also a disabled veteran who could use some assistance but they never have information on how to apply for assistance, just info on how to recieve donations. So I do not donate. My thoughts are, if you are genuinely trying to help us, then you should be interested enough to not only know how to recieve but at least be willing to assist in setting up the giving portion too!

These nuts been calling me off and on for a few weeks.
This crap is getting so bad, I onlu answer phone calls from ppl I know. Reputable businesses should do something about this. It hurts everybody.

Idiots call and if you let it just ring, they will call back in 3-5 hours.  When you do answer the call in attempt to have them STOP calling no one is on the other line.l

they call everyother day and will not talk when you answer the call .... I just want them to stop

AVALON quit calling my phone

i have received over twenty calls from this number within the past week. no one is on the line., i tcomes up avalon on my caller id.
how do i stop these annoying calls

thought Avalon was only calling my number.  When I do answer, in an attempt to tell them to stop calling my number, no one is ever on the other end.  Let me know if anyone fines a way to prevent or end these calls.

Avalon has been calling me 2 or 3 times a day for weeks.  I usually just mute my ringer, but have picked up a few times just to tell them off, but there's nobody there.  It's really getting old.

This number listed as Avalon has called my elderly mother's phone multiple times a day, never anyone on the other end, for over 2 wks.  This is getting to be harassing!!!

Avalon has been calling my mom several times a day for weeks.  I answered to day and the lady tried to tell me my mom had been sending them regular generous donations for Breast Cancer which is a lie.  I asked her to stop calling and remove the number and the lady laughed then hung up.  If anyone has the company information on Avalon I'd would love to flood their phone lines with calls from all of us who have been harassed by them.

It's a telemarketing firm supposedly collecting for a charity to circumvent do not call rules.. they pose as different charities.. and may in fact be phishing.. once they get credit card data for a "donation" you are open for abuse.  best to tell them get a more honest job.. like an escort service pimping for their mother. Sadly, charities are run for the benefit of those that run them anyway... and the company doing the "soliciting" takes a huge bite.. it's all scamming the public on some level, sons of Bushes.

They've been calling me a bunch over the past several months.  If I answer normally they hang up.  If I answer but don't say anything someone eventually comes on the line and asks for "Mr. or Mrs. ___".
Tonight I told the guy to take me off his list and quit calling.  He answered "do you know who we..." and I cut him off with "Don't know, don't care."  Then I hung up.

They'll probably call back.

Every now and then I string these people along.  Most of 'em are paid/rated by how long they're 'live' on a call versus number of sales.  So they'll ask questions and I'll answer real slow or make up some nonsense.  On occasion I'll just put the phone on the counter and go back to what I was doing.  Eventually the loud braying sound alerts me to hang the phone back up.

Same thing here.  Call about every other day and no matter how long i hold the line no one responds...what is the use in this?
