Do these people really think I'm going to be interested in they're invasive calls to my home? Why am I still getting calls selling stuff? I'm on the do not call list!!

First time I've received one from this particular company. Pre-recorded message about reducing home mortgage rates. Offered option to speak with someone so I could reduce my rates, so I pushed "One". Someone picked up within a few seconds, and I immediately asked for the company's address so I could send a "Cease and Desist" letter to them. I had to explain what a "C&D" letter was, and as soon as I got done doing so, there was a lengthy pause. I checked to see if anyone was there, and was promptly hung up on.
I just got done reporting this (including most of this comment here) to the gov't DNC list. I will do some more on-line snooping, and if I come up with an address, I will post it so everyone can send a "C&D" letter.

Oh, and having had this problem before with 3am faxes, if you can get the address of the parent company responsible for these calls, sending a "Cease and Desist" letter really works!! I've had numerous callers stop calling me within a week of my mailing the same letter to them. I even had one company accidentally call my house in the middle of the 3am calls, and I mailed them one, too; I was sent a Certified Mail letter from their legal department begging me to call them and settle things (they were afraid I was taking them to court).

This was left on my caller ID, is now disconnected.

called at 8:20 am. recorded voice urgently requesting that i press 1 to reduce interest rate on "my" account. i pressed 1 to verify the caller to report to dnc registry. when the man answered, i asked for the phone number of the company and he hung up. i suggest that everyone who gets bugged enough to google and ends up on this page should bother to write what happened but more important--help at least 10 old people or non-native english speakers sign up their phones on the dnc registry because they are the intended victims of scams like this. of course i'm registered and these creeps have a work around, but we can hope the law catches up with them.

Caller ID said West Palm Beach.  They do not leave a message but just hang up.  We are not suppose to receive these kinds of calls.

They (561 963 3697) called me too and hung up when I asked them what company they are.  I will try to report them but not sure how.

Aren't these people breaking the law when they call people on the do not call list? How annoying! Can the telephone company do anything about blocking calls from these numbers?

I am on the "D.N.C." list and am so bothered by these types of calls.  They call at every hour they should not, such as 7:30 a.m., 9:45 p.m. and just whenever.  They are not supposed to be calling anyone on the D.N.C.list!  That is the sole purpose of being on the list, not to be bothered by any sale individuals or i.e. others.  I believe, however, that these calls are made by dishonest companies and individuals whose main goals are to prey upon people who are not so keen and fall into their scams. I know if I have any debt and to whom it is owed, I don't know who these people are and if I wanted what they have to offer I would seek them out. So, "DON'T CALL ME, I'LL CALL YOU"!

I get a call from this number every day. I have tried waiting on the phone to get any kind of info, but always get hung up on as I ask who the hell they are! I too, am on the DNC and it is a joke....I get just as many calls now as I did years ago....now the same numbers that have been calling the house for years are showing up on my cell also. Talking about getting psiised off.....I am already there!

This number calls me continuosly but I use my caller ID to not answer.  I do not answer but it is disturbing.  I am with everyone else---why have a do not call list if it is useless.  Not only am I on the federal DNCL, but I am on the Texas list which I pay for.  When you file a complaint with the State agency, they will not touch it unless you tell them which UTILITY  is calling  ---the telephone company or the electric company.   STUPID.  When I file with the federal, they tell me that they do not do anything except put the company on a list that they maintain.  BIG WHOOPEE.  I wish I knew how to complain about the Do Not Call List and help make it work.

Same credit card scam call I've been getting for nearly a year now. New name, new number, same recording! Reporting to FCC & FTC has proven to be a total waste of time. Local telephone company couldn't care less since calls not originating in their area. Third call today with same recording but first two caller ID was Name Unknown/Number Unknown. Talking to them has never done any good, opt out option 2 has never worked they just seem to call more often. Only way I know that might get them to stop calling is get a new unlisted telephone number!
