Received call from this # supposedly representing the IRS.  Requesting that I contact this office
about an income tax matter.

Just got a call from this number today saying that I commited Tax Evasion. Very convincing call. Caller said to be Kevin Jones (with an Indian accent). Gave claim # SC8511 and his Tax ID: 1825855, IRS Id#: 0780 and also said he was a Sr. Tax Audit Officer. He said I owed $97k and was going to do 5 years in jail or resolve out of court by paying $125k.  I was so afraid and now I see how gullible I was as I'm typing this..smh . Seemed authentic but then I googled the number when we were disconnected and not only did the phone not ring but the address attached was a Master Locksmith business in Boynton Beach, FL. He called back and Ii told him to take me to jail. He said the Sheriff's office was on their way in an hour to arrest me.  BEWARE and do your research. The IRS will not call and state you'll be arrested

Yup we got the same call this morning fake, fraud

Same message stating I was in trouble for tax evasion. Used name of Peter Jackie. This was Jan 11. Another phone call today from 661'434 0959. Used name of James Peterson. Same message same voice same message
