I've never gotten a call, that I know of, only saw a $1.00 charge on my credit card bill.  Charge was made on 3/7/2009.  I don't know who these people are and do not remember ever doing business with them.

Same thing... we had 2 charges on our credit card for $1 each. There are two phone (fax?) numbers associated with each charge. The second number was the same on both charges and is 561 989 7400.  We have no idea who these people are or why the charges are on our bill.  I called VISA and know what they told me to do?  They said call this number and ask them to take the charges off your bill. I said if I did that, they would ask for my credit card number, and I will NOT give it to them.  They are a criminal organization and I absolutely will NOT give them my credit card number.  They already charged me two times on it, so they must already have it, but I certainly will not GIVE it to them. This company has charged my debit card $33.95 total..for what I do not know but when I call the number I can't get anything except automated voice...

I ordered an item for under a dollar.  Because the deal was just too good, I carefully read everything to do with the privacy notice and purchase agreement.  I gave an old phone number so I wasn't worried about unwanted calls.  After I had accepted the original charge to my debit card, another screen came up with membership details, so I unchecked the box indicating membership.  I was wconcerned the transaction would not complete without that box checked.  The charge went through, but the next day another $1.00 charge was applied,   "pending further charges."  I immediately called Nuvalife.com customer service at 888-599-7780 and was given an automated response giving me an email address (support@ nuvalife.com) .  The responds came back today with a form email thanking me for contacting "Xacti" and telling me to call 561-989-7400 .  They also use another number Best Brand Values 1-866-529-3413. Tomorrow I am going to the bank to get a new debit card and I am calling the Better Business Bureau in Boca Raton.  From now on, if I am doing business with a new company on-line, I will review their contacts and check out their phone numbers.
