I have been receiving calls from this company for months, but always request to be removed from their calling list. This time I spoke with "Sinclair". I told him that I was going to press charges for harassment with which he responded "Yeah...good luck with that." and immediately hung up on me.

The carrier for the number is a company called Digitcom Services Inc.  If you go to their website there is a 'number lookup' link where you can basically register that someone is abusing the number via telemarketing.  You might try that as an easy way to get some (limited) recourse if they've been bugging you.

Got a call from 562-223-8826.  This is a scam number in regards to factory warranties on cars.

What can be done about this other than reporting it here?

Just got a call from this number; ignored as a quick Google led me to believe it was spam.

They also just called me about an expiring car warranty.  I asked who was calling and then they hung up.

Just happened to me.  As soon as I asked what the name of his company was he hung up.

call from 562-223-8826 who is it. Looked it up and looks like a telemarketing-type call. Sent a text but bounced back

My daughter just rec'd a call from this number.  I called the number back and rec'd a recording regarding a request to be removed from the calling list.  I then called the number 866-225-1956 as listed in the message from "Irked in Memphis" and spoke with David in the compliance dept.  He said the number was owned by one of its' customers and was not supposed to be in service at this time.  Said he would call them and ask them to scrub all contact numbers listed under that number.  I don't expect a lot, but he seemed to be understanding.  If if continues, I will report his business "Telephone Management Caller ID,LLC" to the BBB and to the Federal Communications Commission.

I figured this number was bogus. Glad to see I'm not alone.

I was napping when I got the call from 1 562-223-8826.  I did not answer it.  Upon googling the number, I found this site.  Glad I didn't answer!

If they keep calling use racist profanity to deter them. Psychological warfare!

I just got off the phone with these guys.  The rep called the company "Warranty Specilists Co."  I pressed to see where he got my cell phone number from and he said a 3rd party vendor.  He absolutely refused to give me their name. I pressed to speak to a manager and all he said was "I cannot answer you at this time.  I removed you from the list."  He must have said that a dozen times, but would not give me a name or number to call to speak with someone. Finally he hung up on me.
