Got a call about lowering my interest rate on my credit card. Unwanted call.

Iv been getting these calls often. THEY ARE A SCAM.  No consumer credit card company, or anyone who can reduce interest rates will ask for an account number and S.S. number in  the first 2 minutes of a call.  DO NOT FALL FOR THIS SCAM.

THIS PERSON CALLED TWICE  Feb. 7th and left no message

This is scam hang up if they call you

Demanded an address he said Orlando fl, call came from long beach. Guy said "sir we've been on the phone for almost 2 minutes and I haven't even said the pitch!" lol  scam how'd they get my number?

Called left no message.  I called back (thought maybe it was a business call).  "Thank you for calling back for this promotion."  No other info.

This call is from a machine which promises to lower my credit card interest rates.  I don't have a credit card, but it tells you to press 9 to speak to someone about lowering your interest rates.  When I spoke to a "Dana", she asked if I've pressed 9, and I answered yes.  She then starts to rattle off the script at a rapid rate, and it took me a few shouted "DANA!"'s to get her to stop speaking.  I apologized for interrupting her and told her I was on the DO NOT CALL list and before I could say please take me off of your call list, she hung up the phone.  

NEXT TIME I'M GOING TO USE AN AIR HORN and hang up first!  :p

I get this call all the time from different numbers.  It's obviously from a company that has no scruples about obeying the law.  Why would I possibly want to do business with them?

Fight back against these Telemarketers!  First, make sure both your landline and cellphone numbers are listed on the Federal Do Not Call List (DNC) then
Go to http://www.callercomplaints.com/Default.aspx and file a complaint!

I keep getting calls from this number on my cell phone - maybe once or twice a week for the past few months.  Really, really annoying. When I answer, the caller is a robot or recording of a lady identifying herself as "Rachel with cardholder services" with important information about my credit or credit card interest rates or blah blah blah. Leaves the same scripted message on my voicemail if I miss the call.  I don't even have a credit card! Obviously some kind of phone scam.

Don't know who this is, why are they calling my cell phone?
