Recording states that there is a problem with your Google business listing ...

This is a recording saying, "There is a problem with your Google listing, press 1 to run a report and verify your listing, or press 1 to speak with an agent. Press 2 to be removed". I suspect by pressing 1 you will be entering a bogus agreement. They can then claim that you agreed to "run a report" and "verify your listing". I don't have any listing! I always press 2 to be removed and they still call.

(I had a very similar thing happen with the Yellow Pages or YP.com. They started billing me, and calling with threats of collections for a "listing" that I never had. They had called about 2 years earlier and asked "is this xxxxxx?" when I answered Yes, they recorded that and edited it into a private recording that made it sound like I was agreeing to a listing that would be free for a year, then start charging. They had my voice saying "Yes".

Someone Please prosecute these people!

Picked up the call and there was silence on the other end of the line.
