Do not call my house ever! I have reported you to the state's fraud department....

claims to be from US Treasury's Legal Department.  Used names Andy Parker and Richard Harris.

John Morris called us from this number stating that he was calling from Los Angeles and would be here at our home in the morning with the local police to arrest my husband. I played along and kept asking him to repeat himself since he was speaking with a thick accent. I asked why he, as a federal agent, would be coming with the city police. He didn't like that. I also asked him why this number is showing up as a scam on the internet. He said, "I can explain that." Yet never did. He finally got frustrated and hung up.

Total, obvious scam. I got the same message. "Andy Parker" of the "Department of Legal Affairs." Said if I was too busy to call I should have my attorney call instead, to avoid serious trouble. Couldn't pronounce my name (it's not a complicated one), and could barely make it through his script.

BEWARE: A call from this # as well as incoming "911" calls came to my daughter, with threats about back taxes, arrest warrants etc; which was all very scary for her. I am looking into reporting this, as is she. She gave them $$. She got us as her parents involved also.

Got a call this morning asking for my son (who hasn't lived here for 15 years!), and caller was very difficult to understand.  Assumed it was a scam.  He said he was calling from the "Department of Legal Affairs" in California.  Yea, right.  I took his number, then looked it up online to verify that it's a scam.

I just got the same message! Could barely understand him.

Got the same call from Andy Parker from the Dept. of Legal Affairs.  Left a message on my machine saying I was named in an accident and to call or have my attorney call to avoid legal troubles.  Could barely understand the message but enough to know it was a scam.  Reported the #5623618610 to the the Do Not Call List.

got a call yesterday, saying there was a problem with my taxes and a sheriff would be coming by to arrest me.  Apparently I did not respond the way he wanted, because he never got to asking me to settle over the phone.  The IRS will never call you.

this person called my house over 8 times in a 10 minute period, claiming to have a "judgement against me from the Treasury Department" the caller was a woman with a thick accent.

Called claiming to be from the US Treasury Legal Department. Claimed that there was a legal action against me. He immediately asked for personal info so I asked what it was regarding. He wouldn't say, asked if I had received mail explaining their case, I had not. Made it a point we should get this cleared up ASAP but couldn't give me any info on what I was being charged with. Gave me a phone number to call (claiming it was a U.S. Treasury direct line) for more info. Decided to give it a call and it just led back to the same place but with an answering machine. I'm going to assume this is a phishing scheme, or The U.S. Treasury Legal Affairs Department is incredibly incompetent.

Received a phone  call on 10/3 at 3:10 PST from a man "Andy Parker" with a heavy accent claiming to be from the Department of Legal Affairs threatening me with a legal "mess" if I did not call back. Did not state what the legal issue was but after threatening me told me to have a blessed day.

Just got a call from this# he called 6,7 times time after time finally I decided to pick up the phone first a guy talked to me he had Indian accent and he was telling me he is calling  US Treasury's Legal Department and there is a case against your name!! He said have you received a letter from us....? I said No and he said since you've not received a letter we should explain you over the phone and he transfer me to another guy His name was Steave Conar Batch#11030, Ext#503 and he said we've mailed you 2 times letter but nobody was home to sign the letter and we couldn't leave it there so there for I've to explain you over the phone and he said you owe to IRS! and you've property which you've not reported!!! Which I don't have any and by saying that I got to the point that they're are scam and I told him you're scam better not call me anymore and he said ok we'll come to arrest you I said ok go for it and he hang out.

Got the same message from a person who called himself Andy Parker from Department of Legal Affairs. And he wants to talk to me about a case in my name.  Sounds very stupid that sounds like a bad imitation of an American accent.  Totally a scam.  

" Andy Parker" called today with a threatening message which was illogical!!!  He said to line up a lawyer and that if we did not call bsck we would be in a further " mess".  Thick Indian accent.

This is a scam, they called and said they were the US Treasury Dept and that I made a mistake on my 2009 taxes and I had not responded to them and now I am going to jail. All of my credit cards and bank accounts will be frozen and I am facing liens and forfeiture of all assets.
I called the IRS and found that I am in good standing and that this is a scam, I an reporting this to the fraud dept

Received a call from this number, claiming to be the Department of Legal Services. They rattled off a bunch of very legal sound infractions that I was being pursued for, amazed that I hadn't already received paperwork about it. When I asked for it to be sent certified mail, they informed me that a warrant would be issued/released the moment we were disconnected and then they hung up the phone. Complete scam - of course, I'll update this post if I get arrested in the next couple of hours ;)

Got a message at my answering machine again. The last message was received about six months ago. Same guy claimed to be Andy Parker from Los Angeles Legal Affair. He urged me to call this number because there's a lawsuit against me or have my attorney to call him at this number if I am too busy.  

This is definitely a SCAM!!!!!

Andy Parker called my parents house that I need to contact him immediately regarding pending lawsuit. WTF! I'm definately not calling him back.

We received a threatening call from this number - I called back and asked for information and they refused.  I said that I was going to report them and he said "do what you gotta do" and hung up.
