received call today at noon local time.  Caller appeared to be automated message claiming they were calling from "my credit card company" about lowering my interest rate.  Hung up at that point since expected it was a scam call since there was no identification of what credit card company the call was coming from presented.

I missed a call from this # and tried to call back but there was no answer, they left no message. I am on the no call list?

Got the same generic "your credit card company" message. Has scam written all over it.

Don't answer calls from this number. It is a scam. If you have an iPhone and don't want to receive calls. label it scam and then block it on your phone.

Got a call, no message, won't respond if I call back. Phone just rings.

Got this call. I didn't answer; no message was left. They won't pick up when I call back.

Number called around 9am. Automated message telling me they were calling about important information regarding my account (don't remember it saying what kind of account) and that this was my last notice if I wanted my interest rate reduced to X% (was small amount, like 3.5%) I had to respond now. Press 1 if I want to accept the offer and connect to an operator. Press 2 if I want to decline the offer and end the call. I just hung up. Screamed scam to me.

I pressed #1 and a real voice answered. I told him to remove my phone number from their database. He said ok. I hung up. Let's hope that this doesn't make it worse.

Hi all, also got this call with automated message that they had some information about my credit line and could offer me a rate as low as (and I didn't write the rate down).  "Press one to speak to a representative."  I pressed 1 out of curiousity, and it rang a couple of times.  A gentleman who sounded like they were from the USA answered "Financial Services, this is (didn't catch his name)," and he asked if I was calling about the low interest rate offer.  I stated that THEY called me. He didn't respond to this, just cut to the chase and asked how much debt I had.  I gave them $100- yep, one hundred dollars, and he said, "Oh no, you have to have at least $4,000," and then just hung up on me.  So, not sure if it's really a scam, but why take the chance?  If you need this kind of service, plenty of legit operations out there.  I wouldn't take this bait or they may just take you to the cleaners.  Verdict: Block this number if you can.
