I have been receiving phone calls from these people for about 2 weeks.  They talk very slowly and say it is important for me or my lawyer to call back as soon as possible.  Then they go on to say a warrant has been issued for my arrest for non payment of a payday loan which I never applied for.  Glad to know I am NOT the only victim.

Received a call from a lady with very thick-sound indian accent. Asking to speak to one of our employees.  Asked her if this was a personal business call, she said yes.  I told her she would need to call the employee at home.  She then said she was calling from a law firm (yeah....right!!!!).  I repeated that she would need to call the employee at home.  She acted dumb-founded   - surprised.....I think not!!!!    Do not give these Scum any information.  From what I have pieced together, they have gotten information about some of our employees when they have applied on-line for pay-day loans.  They then call them and use threatening tactics to scare people into sending them money.  However the employees I have spoken with, never got the loans from the companies.  DO NOT USE ON-LINE LOAN Companies unless you know for sure who you are dealing with.  Alot of these are SCAMS!

Received the same message today as well.

I have been receiving calls from this number stating that they are a legal firm & that I need to verify my ssn# or they will send the legal athorities to my place of employment. I have responded with asking for the company information which sounds like a noisy call center in the background & to send the athorities. They hang up & call back numerous times, harrassing my office. They told me the name of the company is Baker & Mckenzie law firm  at 1230 5th Ave Toldedo OH 41356. There is no such address. I called them back & let them know that I will be filing harrassment charges.

After calling 6x in a row they finally leave a voicemail, which sounded very threatening.
at the end the person say "if you don't return this call immediately the only thing i can do is wish you luck as the situation unfolds on you". How extremely rude is this!!!
