they call daily, when i called them back they talk in circles ... i explained that the # belonged to someone before who apparently owed them  money, but they will not get the message....

They called us tonight looking for my husband's first wife, which they've been divorced for 15 years, and asked for her by her current married name, WIERD!

They call everyday, but when i answer they just hang up.and when i ask about it they say its paperwork

they call all hours of the day and night. it really gets on my nerves, and have no idea what they want. so it have been keeping my phone turned off, they won't leave a message so i don't talk to them.

Calls my house asking for someone who does not live here. Claiming to have paperwork for them!

they kept calling me i answer them they just hang up i dont know what they want from me that's crazy get a life or something yes the number who call me 1 570 876 6309 we should report these people to goverment or somewhere

Whoever they are, called my cell phone.  Very few people have that number as it is.  I answered and I knew it was a recording because no one responded right away.  It went on to say "one of our representatives will be with you shortly.." Blah blah blah.  After hearing different variations of they're busy, will be with me shortly, I hung up.

They have called everyday and have not left any messages, so finally when I was able to answer the phone and I asked who they were they told me it was none of my business and had to do with paperwork. They then hung up on me.

I got a call today 6:40 p.m. from that number and it was a strange exchange, so I googled it and found this forum. Some dude named Derrick must have used my number as a contact number. The woman asked for Derrick, and I told her that she had the wrong number. Usually people just hang up, but she was all up on, do you know Derrick? etc. And I'm like. "No, you have the wrong number."

They called me everyday at ever hour, im not sure who these people are and i dont plan on answering it either, ive tryed to call back to see what they say but they ask for an ext #.

This number keeps calling my mom's cell phone. But there's never anyone there when we answer. So we don't answer.. They've started calling my cell phone now.. Same thing.. How are they getting our numbers if they don't really want to speak to US?

I got 10 calls from them just today. But they say we have a call for you, then the music plays and then they hang up....I get anywere from 5 to 15 calls a day from this number..They just need to leave a message.

They don't call me because my number was disconnected. So they started sending letters to my aunts apartment saying that I owe money for an account that was paid off saying that if I don't pay up they will sue and have me held responsible for the filling fees and court fees. The name on the letters is USCB. The internet site they gave on the letter is bogus and when I went looking for collection agencies the address for the name of the company is on the other side of the U.S. from the address they are claiming on the letter. On the letter they claim to be P.O. Box 75 in Archbald, PA. 18403, the address on the collection agency website says they are in Fullerton, CA and I forgot the number I would have to relook it up again.
   I'm having the same problem with the numbers 808-206-2804 and 702-596-9367. They used up my emergency minutes on my phone and made it so that it had to be disconnected because I couldn't afford to pay for them to call me looking for a Claudia when I had just had my number changed to the one that they were calling only 3 weeks earlier, and they act like I'm stupid and tell me to have her call them when I don't know anyone by the name of Claudia. Who are these people?!

I got a call from them today, My 17month old Son and I were trying to nap. They called us around 8pm, we live in ky. so EST..
Anyway, I'm wondering if ALL of you owe money for something??
I think this seems to possibly be what we all have in common.
My thought is that they have some how gotten this Knowledge, maybe pretending to be a collection agency, or just hacking the Info & sending us Letters and phone calls saying that we owe money for "whatever" and when we send in our money then they get to take it and run, while we still owe this money.
Thats just my THOUGHTS...I have no knowledge to back this up.
I do owe almost $1000 to something I should be paying on, but funds weren't there, thats whats great about debt, huh?!. Anyway...
I'm going to look further into them, maybe make a few phone calls myself about them, & I will be back on to let you know what I find in a day or so.
If anyone else finds out anything let us know...I dont want to be annoyed or hounded by these ppl...they called and let it ring 3times then hung up. GRR

So, I just wrote the above post...I was thinking I just got a letter stating that if I send out half of what I owe then they will just let the debt i owe go..

This all seems like a scare hoax to me.  With the economy the way it is lots of people owe money somewhere.  They probably just purchased a list of numbers and are doing this to everyone on that list.  
I'm getting these calls as well, but I am usually not around my phone when they call - - they don't ever leave me messages.
I hope that you get this message before you send any money to them.

I have been getting calls on my cell phone for several weeks.  When I answer, I get nothing.  I have recently registered with the national do not call list.  The cell phone mostly rings in the early evening, but today, I just got a call from this number at 12:35 CST.

i've been getting these calls also.  the phone rings enough for the number to show up then stops. no voicemail is ever left and i won't call back cuz there are so many scams out there that it could possibly be reverted to an international call at the push of any button. everyone, especially cell phone users now, should register with the national do not call list because as of this month cell phone numbers are open territory for anyone or any "business" to call you at any time they feel free to.
