I called my mother in Pa 570 area code from my 321 home phone area code and the number 1-570-970-4584 appeared on her caller id instead of my number. Explain that???

I had the same problem when my mother called from her cell phone 5709704584 showed on my caller id instead of hers

ive had the same problem when my gf calls me from canada this joke number is displayed on my caller id anyone with any answers please post! i live in moscow pa

update - i believe this may be a collection agency/ agency bounty hunter/ etc. spoofing the caller id in order to record and obtain information to collect on payment. i was a victim of credit card fraud and identity theft that i was not aware of until mid may that has not been settled yet.. let me know if this rings a bell with anyone that posted here

I got several calls from this number on my caller ID.
I blocked my number and tried returning the call but I get
an "error in conection" note with a rapid busy signal.
Could be a scam artist, collection agency, or a hit man
from my ex-wife.
Who knows?
In any event, I highly recommend you let your non-personal
voice mail pick this up....

forget my last update... for those of you recieving calls or placing calls and this number appears from somebody on the other line you know, i believe its called VoIP fraud... its a form of fraud and identity theft... search "VoIP fraud" on google for more information... hope this helps

Someone called from this number, but nobody was there. They did not answer me nor did they hang up. This is the first time this has happened to me. My phone number begins with 570-970 so I thought it was someone local until I tried to google it.

I keep getting calls from this number and they always hang up.I tryed to call the number back and says please try again later all lines are busy.I am sick and tired of this number calling my house,Something has to be done about this.
