- belthey called my freaking job!!! they need to get a real job instead of trying to take innocent peoples money!!!
- twPlace is called Central Process Services, whatever that is.
I'm on hold now waiting to chew someone out for calling a family member!- Caller: central process services
- kel3391Person called my house (claimed to be "Arthur Miller") and asked for me, then when my mom said I wasn't there, they said the "problem" was with my sister, and that she was going to have a restraining order put against her (Ummm,, PA doesn't even HAVE restraining orders). Then they called my sister's cell and told her she needs to call them back or she's in trouble. Yeah right! Who calls family members of people, then harrasses the people???? I called the police and they said said to never answer the phone when this number shows up. It's a scam, and they are big enough LOSERS to not have real jobs. Block this number: 570-983-0544
- BoydThey called my home in Utah asking for my son that lives in CA. They told me that someone had filed a claim agianst my son and that a restraining order had been issued against him. They asked me to have him call them within 48 hours and gave me a claim number and this phone number for my son to call. When my son called it they put him on hold for about 10 minutes, since he could not think of anyone who might have filed a claim against him it made him currious so he checked the nunber on the internet to find out that it is a scam used to get peoples personal and bank information. If you get a call from this number do nothing but definately dont call it back.

- quick| 1 reply"Nikki Griffin" called me at 8am and left a message saying that there was a restraining order out against me and that me or my attorney had 24-48 hrs to dispute it. I don't live in PA nor have I ever been there or know anyone from there. I was still a little worried that someone had accidentally called the wrong person until I saw this page.
- tbwYes, same happened with my #, asking for someone I don't know. Man had just repeated "Central Process" and couldn't take my phone number off without the "case #". When I tried to complain that I found it irresponsible to call a # without the correct name and couldn't understand message for file # they were referring to, he hung up on me.
Don't let the words "lawsuit/restraining order filed against you" give any concern for whomever they are asking for. This cannot be legitimate when there is such lack of concern for having left message to wrong person!
What a waste of time!- Caller: Central Processing Service
- susie| 2 repliesreceived a call from this number today and was told i had a restraining order in place against me and that i needed to have my attorney contact them within 48 hrs. the person calling claimed to be a special investigator. called my local polic dept and they said its a scam. no one notifies you by phone that you have a restraining order on you. restraining orders are served in person. losers!!!!

- Mother Bear"Todd Willis" called and left a message at my ex-husband's house for my 22 year old daughter, stating the same scenario listed above...he was a "special investigator" and she had a restraining order against her, and had 24-48 hours to contact them.
Now...my daughter is about as innocent and naive as anything, and has NEVER even done anything that would make anyone WANT to get a restraining order against her... we live in WA state, and have never even BEEN to PA.
She called me and my fiance, to get advice on what to do, since my fiance has a background in ...shall we say..."the private sector"...and is VERY protective of her. While he tried to call back the number (was on hold forever) I did a search and found this site...thank you all for your posts...it confirmed what I felt it to be. What is even worse...these [***] left a message with her neighbor as well...scaring (harassing) THEM, and making it seem SHE had done something wrong.
Now...the ONLY time she has put down their number...was as a reference on job applications....so it would seem that there is some unscrupulous selling of private information going on somewhere.
Sadly enough, my fiance never got through, so could not make this "Todd Willis" feel his rage, or wonder if he should even sleep at night....lol.
SCAMMERS GO TO HELL and take heed...mess with my cubs, and you will regret the day you were born!!- Caller: Central Process Servicing

- tmhavroncalled my mother in laws and left a message for me - she said that a guy named William Green called said he was an investigator and i had a claim against me and a restraining order (why?) i had 24-48 hours to call back at 570-983-0544. I called back as soon as i hung up with her. was on hold for 10 minutes the 1st time, so i tried again, and got stuck listening to music for another 18 minutes. who are these people?

- JVoice mail says he is Investigator William Green. He is calling about an "action that is being filed against you". There is a restraining order Involved. Please call them and tell them who your attorney is.
He doesn't mention who he is calling, what company he represents and what the debt is or how much it is. - Concerned CitizenReport this person immediately to the PA Sheriff; 570.963.6719. They are a scam. They say you have a restraining order against you but they are actually trying to collect on old debt that has been settled or paid (ex. Citi Financial or Visa or a loan you took out). They are currently going by the name of Central Processing Services but you cannot find them anywhere on the internet. They will only be stopped by the law, so call the sheriff now. If they call you more than once call your local police department as well (that is what the sheriff told me to do). DO NOT give them any information or verify anything. I was contacted by "special agent Kevin Smith."
By law you would be served if you were being taken to court. Stop these people by reporting them. Know you rights; by law if they are contacting you for debt they cannot do it under false pretenses. They must send you written notification as well. If that is not done with in 5 business days then you can counter sue them.- Caller: Central Processing Services

- SI received a call from this place today saying they were investigating my ex-husband. I gladly gave them HIS number and asked to be removed from any records. They gave me a case # and a phone number to call 570-983-0544. the man said he was an investigator with William & Green. I looked them up.. I have reported this to the FCC and the SCC.
My recommendation is any time these scammers call, you keep them on the line for as long as you can so your cell phone company can have the record and then report this to any and all federal and state agencies. This takes time but it takes effort to stop these guys! One day, someone you know may be affected by their scams.- Caller: William & Green, Investigations
- Carol replies to quickSome chick called my aunts house and left the exact same message. I promptly called them and let them know i'm not fallin for the okie doke so scam someone else and if they insist pushin this claim take me to court.....effin idots...
- CrisstyleA lady name (Tina Blackwell) said she is a special investigators called and left a message on my voice mail talking about I have 48 hours to get in contact with them. Talking about some dag on restraining order. Tell you like I tell the rest good luck finding me, I know its a scam. I just want to know how the heck they get your telephone number because I never give out the number they called on.
- JasonOkay, if you got a call from these people, you can relax for a bit. They are not lawyers or special investigators. They are unsavory debt collectors using tactics like the ones you'll read to scare you. I've had 3 of these phone in the past and laugh at the nonsense they come up with. These guys will try to trap you into saying the debt is yours and ask you questions. Don't reply to them, simply ask them to remove your number from their calling list or you will report them. They are aggressive, so be prepared!
I also urge you to look up the Fair Debt website to learn your rights when these people call. It makes it easier if you are the one in charge. Good Luck

- a seasoned debt collector| 1 replyThese fools called my mothers house stating there was a restraining order (me and my 4 yr old son)
in regards to a petting zoo or some thing along those lines .. same scenario... she calls me during dinner and I nearly choked on my food trying to get the words out of How Effing Ridiculous this sounded.... first of all who cares about a restraining order from the petting zoo... secondly why would I need an attorney to fight that... so I wont go to the petting zoo, big deal... NEXT !!
And yes a restraining order has to be served, duh! And lastly a restraining order has to be signed off by a judge who has to decide there is reasonable cause for it... Do you really think a judge is going to justify a restraining order against a 4yr old ?
They are as dumb as rocks !!!- Caller: Central Process Services
