Claimed they were from the IRS about fraud on my account.

Got a message saying the same thing.  Person who left message claimed to be with IRS.  His accent was Indian, but gave an American name.  Stay clear of this blatant spam.  They want your SS# plus other personal information.  If there is a problem with your return, IRS usually send certified mail if it is serious.

I received a call saying they were from the IRS and that I had failed to give them personal info and that the police tried to arrest me due to an arrest warrant (that i don't have) they wanted my address and social and asked if I still lived at such and such address.  He had an Indian voice but said his name was Jonathon. He gave a badge number but said it too fast to write it down so I hung up and called the police and made a report.  Be careful,  I get calls like this alot and they are scams just to get your personal information.
