I keep getting calls from them and have asked them to take my number out of their systems, but keep getting calls.  Also have turned them in to the FTC and reported them.  The only time I talked to these people they were looking for someone I don't know.  we have had this number 32 years, and I don't know this person.  So why do they keep calling?

Strong Arm Debt Collectors doing some fishing. Most of the time they are calling blind or with outdated information to contact debtors. If you answer these calls and actually speak to someone do not give your name, they will search for any old, settled, or discharged debt and try to collect any unpaid balances, even if debt was discharged on a bankruptcy.

This Company and Several others use multiple Phone numbers to harass people into to paying charged off old, settled, or discharged debt. They hide behind multiple phone numbers to avoid prosecution under the fair credit act.

I keep getting call from this number and they will not stop they are rude and do not even know who they are calling

Keep calling my number, only letting it ring 2 times... what's up with that?  I couldn't talk with them even if I  WANTED to, which I don't.  :)

These ppl keep calling my dads cell# & no one responds. They need to quit being butt-heads & either say something or leave a message. BONE-HEADS!!!

BTW this 571-261-0047 will ANSWER if you call them back WHILE YOU HAVE THEM ON THE LINE.
This is the only time you will not get the busy signal.

i love it when they call. this works for other telemarketers too.
i get to call them back 20 times and create a big conference call.
then it ties up 20 telemarketers.
then i call them back again.
its fun listening to themselves try to figure out why their lines are now 'crossed'. even better is letting their manager know how much employee time/pay they waste on calling my number with 20 phone lines tied up in circles

It works on iphone and blackberry.
basically answer the call then hang up.
now goto recent calls and call them back.
as soon as it connects, ADD another call to the same recent # and
merge them into a conference call (the option will appear). repeat about 5 times.
repeat about once a minute to keep adding as they eventually hang up one line at a time.
put it on mute, and start laughing.

This is the company calling! Google them and see what they're about! File this with the FTC!!!!

Got a new cell phone & new cell number  which I have not given out my new number on...and this number calls all the time! I have tried calling back...always busy!

I get several calls from this number in a day. They say " I have a call for you please hold"   I just hang up but it is so annoying.  In fact it is harassment.
It is from RECEIVABLESPERF, I have no idea who this is, and I have 0 debt, I want it to stop.

I've been receiving calls from 571-261-0047 recently.  I never answer, but they call morning, afternoon and evening; calls started 31 July 2011, and occur daily since then, usually once or twice per day.

I've gotten many, many calls from this nuisance phone number.  As soon as I answer they hang up.  I called the number but it is not a reachable number.  Can you identify who these pests are and tell me how to get rid of these and all other PESTS?
Thank you and of course "Have a Nice day",  something almost impossible in the Post Bush era.

Has called about 2-3x's per day every other day for the past 2-3 weeks.
Just not answering, and now I see that's a good choice.
Do like the early August postings on the conference call prank back to the number.  Good stuff.
