Got a call, thought it was business related. It is a prank outfit called, "Hate Cozmo" that, when called back prompts a caller to hit a button and switch phone services. Do not call this number back or press any numbers!!!

got a missed call from 5714039178, called back says hate cozmo and asks to press bunch of #'s.

I received this call very early at around 8:05 am today (Sunday) and also left no message. I did a reverse match and the number is based out of WA, but is unpublished. I checked here but decided to call back and found that it is some sort of rogue company called "Hate Cozmo". The automated message said to wait on the phone while it retrieved my "file". Then all of the sudden this automated woman gives me a speech about how I should cash in my unused cell phone minutes, and also switch to this no-name carrier. I hung up half way through. I didn't have to press any numbers, but it may be one advertisement of many from this number. They'd best not call again!!

I got this call on my cell phone this morning at 9.06 CST.  It rang twice but hung up.  I didn't answer it because i didn't recognize the number. I called from my land line and the company says "Hate Cozmo" or "Hey Cozmo" i couldn't tell because it is an automated computer generated menu system---if press '2' the recording states "Hate cozmo is about getting something done now----" whatever that means and refers you to their website (which doesn't exist)

These calls are coming from HeyCosmo.  Their website is www.heycosmo.com.  They offer "robocall" services to consumers.  So the idea is that you can set up a poll, an invitation, or a prank and "blast" it out to a list of numbers that you choose.  I guess if you're receiving a call from this number that someone you know (or maybe not) "blasted" you along with a bunch of other people.

Got a call from 571-403-9178, apparently it's some sort of pc to phone operation used for mass phone calls such as polls, pranks, or invitations. I'm guessing it's a call from a so called friend or some company sold my phone number. Someone has to type in your number to use it though. I missed the call earlier today around 5:30pm. I called back a few hours later and it said something about "This is Hey Cosmo...retrieving your file." As soon as I heard that I hung up.

Supposedly you can block/unblock your number from this website too but I didn't trust it so I had my cell phone company block it to be safe. Hopefully this is the only number this website calls from. Freakin' A man!

Just received a call from the same #, but it didn't ring long enough for me to answer it.  I called back from a land line, got the automated "hey cosmo" crap, & hung up without selecting any options.  Thanks for all the advice; I hope they don't call back.

another hate cozmo number is 559-467-1015 beware ppl!!

if you google "penalty for do not call violation" you'll get a link to the www.ftc.gov website.  Apparently if you've previously ever registered your phone number for the Do Not Call list you can file a complaint.  Especially if when you answer, there's a pre-recorded message.  The penalty can be up to $16,000. for them.  They called me at 6:49am this morning, but I was already out and missed the call.  I will answer if they call again, just so that I can hear the pre-recorded message and file a complaint.
