Got another call today. Next time I'm going to answer and threaten the callers life and the life of his/her family. I ask them to record the conversation and turn it over to the cops. That way I'll finally know who's behind this. When I show the DA I get 5 calls a day 6 days a week for 2 years I'll have my defense.

Today the guy told me "Hurry up, I don't have all day." twice when I responded that I was pulling out my credit card (a lie). Became irate when I cussed him out for asking for my credit card number (usually they just hang up). Called me "[***]" while still trying to appear legit.

Congratulations, Scott from "Account Services," today you became the 60th (!!!) number programmed into my phone under "Scam A$$h*les."

I wonder how many more numbers I'll get before it stops...

I quit answering the call itself but try to call back the number. This number is an obvious scam since the phone company says it is not in service.

Next, I create a group called scammers on my cell phone and name the first account is Z0 Card services. i use Z since I don't have any Z friends and it puts the numbers at the bottom of the list so I don't have to constantly scroll through them looking for someone else. Then I add their number to one of the phone number choices - it does not matter which one because you will use them all. I set the ring tone to none so i never have to hear it ring.

Next time I get the scammers from a new number i add them to that same account. If i used home before this time it will be mobile, then the next one fax....

Once you fill all the phone slots for that account you name the next account Z1 Card services and just keep doing that. Right now, I have 22 different full accounts of crap numbers but now I never have to answer their calls.

    Mr. Air Horn
These turkeys called me again.  So now I've added this number to my directory with a silent ring tone and no vibrate.  PLUS (are you ready fo' dis?!?) I'm going to call their Customer Service number that one of their bimbos gave me:  855-317-7225.  Hundreds of times, baby, from my office's 8-line phone system AND two lines from each of my two cell phones.  That will be 12 calls x $.06/minute = $.72 per minute ... $42 per hour.  Lots of open lines, playing music on hold, running up their bill, reminding them that all they hafta do to make it stop is stop calling me.  Too much to ask, apparently.

Here are some tips from before, refined a bit:

May as well systematically jack with these basturds.  Maybe consider it your patriotic duty to keep them on the line as long as possible so as to run interference for your fellow Americans and keep them from getting scammed.

Rachel of Credit Card Services is the FTC's enemy number one; wow!  200,000 fricken complaints each month.  Imagine how much those cost to process.  They have scammed our fellow Americans out of $30 million dollars.  We can send a man to the moon, but we can't burn Rachel at the stake?!  Gimme a break!

So here's my drill for these CCS turkeys who call incessantly.  (Even refraining from answering calls from numbers I don't recognize FOR FOUR MONTHS, didn't make them stop.)  So now I follow these steps:

    1.  Play along, acting like an interested prospect giving them fictitious data, including a combination of two different credit card numbers.

    2.  I am oh-so patient, even dutiful, as I respectfully repeat myself and make a point of speaking slowly and clearly since these scammers aren't so sharp.

    3.  Upon request, I give them my credit card company's real telephone number so that they can waste their time calling while I hold.  Inevitably they come back on the line and want to review the info I've given them.

    4.  Sometimes I give them the same credit card info with two of the numbers transposed, thus causing them to call my credit card company yet a second time.

    5.  Then I let 'em have it (and this is the FUN part).  When they say that my info didn't work, I respond, "Well maybe that's because H-O-O-O-O-O-N-N-N-K-K-K-K [from my air horn; and I've nearly exhausted three of those bad boys] you've been PRANKED!  So please call back tomorrow if you want more bullshot.  Eat shot and die, you predatory human garbage!"

It is SO FUN to switch to my crazy-azzed Mr. Hyde after so convincingly portraying Dr. Jekyll.  Incidentally, if you get really lucky you might even persuade them to give you a REAL number at which to call them back.  Then please post it here so that the rest of us harassees can call them ad naseum.

Card Member Services.  THEY WILL NEVER STOP CALLING, SO... “GET EVEN”.

When they call press (1) to be connected to “LIVE OPERATOR”  (this will waste their time).
They will try and get as much personal information from you as they can – GIVE THEM FAKE INFORMATION.   I usually tell them I have 2 or 3 credit cards with a balance of 7k to 15k and interest rates from 15% to 21%, using this method will keep them on the phone longer and you can waste more of their time.   At some point they will ask the name of the credit card, toll free customer service number and credit card number with exp. date (many times they will ask for the last 4-digits of your social security number) REMEMBER, DO NOT GIVE “REAL” PERSONAL INFORMATION OUT TO THEM AS THEY STORE AND SAVE ALL INFO.
