yes almost everyday,never leave message

These criminals--yes, that's what they are--have gotten hold of both our residence and office numbers (or maybe they're just calling all numbers in sequence, as both our numbers are very close sequentially). They call mostly in the evening and have never said anything the two or three times I've answered either number. They just called again (8:50 PM); I said nothing for about 30 to 45 seconds after picking up the phone. The moment I began speaking they disconnected.

The Caller ID says this is "SSI." SSI is a government welfare program (Supplemental Security Income--not connected with Social Security, as many assume). No one here is eligible for SSI, as we already have our pensions.

What makes people so deranged as to make calls such as these? The next time they call I'm going to blow a loud whistle into the phone.

I have received many of these calls, and even more recently--three times today. Just like others have mentioned. the caller ID says SSI and there is never a message. I do think I sometimes hear breathing. Annoying and creepy.

I got a call from this number about 8:00pm today 7/6/2016.  I looked the number up and it is located in Fisk, MO and the telephone company is Big River Telephone Company.  Their Customer Service number is 1-855-244-7483.  I am going to call Big River in the morning and complain to them that one of their customers is harassing me.  If enough of us call them maybe we can get this stopped.

This number has heen calling. No message left.

I got a call from this # on my house phone and picked it up. The lady stated she was not selling anything and wanted to know if she was speaking to an adult. I hung up, they have called back twice in the last 30 minutes....8:58 pm was the last one.

A call on an unlisted number was received from this number early this evening. The person was very difficult to understand, with what sounded to be a Hispanic accent. I was able to understand that he wanted to know who was registered to vote from "this address." I told him I would not reveal that information, then I thought to ask him what address he thought this was (we've had the number for a year or perhaps less). We still receive bill collection calls even after three-plus years from people who had another of our numbers at one time.
When asked what address he thought this is he disconnected the call.

Multiple calls today and more in the last week. I never answer and they have yet to leave a message. Annoying.

This number had been blowing my phone up with 4-5 calls a day no message nothing said if I answer. We use big river as our carrier and I and they have the option to reject calls from select numbers. I just put this number on my list so we'll see if it works. Everyone may want to see if they have the same ability with their phone providers.

Caller ID SSI. A caller left a message thinking someone had answered, asked for head of household, then "hello. Hello?"  Probably Russians

Called my cell phone.  I did not recognize the number, so did not answer.  No message left.  I appreciate all the comments here, as now I know it was good I didn't answer.  I'll block it.

Call my business I wait my voice Manager on then put on speaker with Chinese speaking then hang up.  I get tired with all these calls so now I use Chinese answer and get rid most of scam calls.  Peace of mind to do the job.
